They were kinda dominating then until Harrison was taken out and UGA was gifted a TD after failing a 4th down conversion that would’ve pretty much ended the game. UGA was extremely lucky just to be there last night

People forget how lucky Georgia was to be in last night's game. It is kinda sad that they don't realize how it was gifted and not earned.

Everyone makes it sound like UGA was so lucky Ohio state missed the kick. It wasn’t a gimme. It was 50 yards. They also attribute Ohio state’s miss to bad luck but UGA’s 2 misses to UGA being bad. Bottom line is, UGA had more rushing yards, UGA had more passing yards, UGA had more points. Ohio State is a good team but brought their A game while UGA showed up with their C- game and still won. People point out Ohio State’s injuries but ignore the fact UGA was similarly affected by injuries.

We heard that at this time last season.

Yet, there goes Bryce, without a ring as a starter.

BS.

Our offense was clicking for about 35 minutes. Outside of that, not even close to our "A game."

Ohio State has a couple of choices here...Played their A game and lost a close one to a team who did not play their A game. Thats best case scenario for Ohio State.

Another option is that OSU did not play well and were therefore unprepared and got their asses whupped as will happen when you don't bring you A game. Not a good look for OSU.

Yet another option is that OSU was not physically prepared to play at a high level and when they met a physically superior team got hurt and couldn't perform. Again, bad look for OSU.

Finally OSU did not play their A game in the biggest game of the year. Thats probably the worst indictment of OSU...how can you have a bad game and lose on that stage???? UGA had a bad game but managed to win because UGA is a winnner and thats what winners do....losers show up unprepared and get that arse whupped. It really comes to down to winnners and losers.

Ohio State was lucky to be in a position to have a shot at a questionable FG at the end to win the game. UGA was skilled at preventing OSU from getting in better FG position, better at scoring TDs and eliminating the need for FGS and at the end of the day better at putting points on the scoreboard, all that really matters. If it makes the Buckeye nation feel better to have folks claim they actually won the Peach Bowl in dominant fashion I see nothing wrong with that....its true....Ohio State actually won the Peach Bowl in dominant fashion. In every aspect of the game except the one that is universally considered the most important and that is the final score...on that one minor aspect Ohio State lost again to UGA. But here's to a great moral victory....your welcome to all of those.

Georgia did not stop our final drive. We got conservative with our playcalling. Still, that kick was almost in the gimme range. Georgia won by luck, not because they earned it.

They missed a winning field goal.

From 50 yards, trailing late.

I mean that’s not what it looked like the 11 guys on the field goal unit we’re doing but ok

We won’t be thinking about that one bit. We’ll be tied up contemplating how fricking awesome it is to repeat as national champs.

By that logic, we missed TWO winning field goals. ALso gifted them a TD with an interception deep in our territory. They were fortunate that they were in that position with seconds left.

It was OSU’s A game and GA’s C- game

Outshined and scored more points

All while missing 2 FG’s and throwing an INT on our own 30 yard line

Ohio State and Georgia were pretty evenly matched and played at about the same level.

That's the choice, because that's reality.

Best case scenario for OSU is they are better than UGA and were whooping them when their TE, WR and RB were playing. That's a factual statement and not conjecture because the scoreboard showed the score. Then when those 3 guys went out, the score went lopsided the other direction. May not have made a difference, but it certainly could have

I want to give UGA a ton of credit as their program is a good program and I overall like Smart. Their fans act like they are Christ reborn

How you can look at the Peach Bowl and not admit that UGA may have been the 2nd best team on the field if the teams were healthy is beyond me

This is so lame. I would call it dumb but I'm not down with childish insults. Georgia only won because of a missed FG and injuries to Ohio State. Some have accused Uga of dirty play but I'm not going to stoop to that. It is part of the game. Georgia brought their A game and still got all it can handle.
