Are you serious? How is this not grounds for immediate termination and a few swift revenge kicks to the nuts? Pretty sure that would hold up in a court of law.

I’m not a Sooners fan by any stretch but Riley’s scorched earth exit makes me a little empathetic towards OU. That was beyond low. What a little bitch move, didn’t get his way in the conference discussions so he just decides to burn the mother fricker to the ground on his way out?

If I were Castiglione, I’d rat that little prick out to the NCAA for everything he did for USC while employed by OU. Then I’d sue the frick out of him for misrepresentation and breach of contract.

Everyone lost steam when we found out we would still be in the Big 12 next year.

Oh and we lost to Kansas.

I like the way you think. I hope they do it! Long term, we are so much better off.

Lord! Don’t invite them back in! They’re like vampires. Keep your garlic handy and don’t invite them in. We should be safe if we are all diligent.

dumpster fire that Riley left pretty much ends any chance we will be moving to the SEC in the next couple of years.

He did you no favors. It was cold blooded.

On the other hand, delaying the SEC arrival puts both OU and Texas at risk of getting boat raced by big brother Kansas next year.

The SEC didn't have to kick their arse to shut 'em up.

Actually I'm posting at a higher rate now than I did back when the news broke (though still not much). Perhaps surprisingly, I'm more optimistic about the future possibilities than I was a week ago. There are still a few bad ways things could go ofcourse, but it was obvious how things were going with the status quo, and I couldn't see any easy way out. My biggest problem with the LSU rumors was that I sort of like LSU. USC really came through for me.

Get a decent keep-the-foot-on-the-pedal gritty coach. Keep up our typical level of recruiting - with perhaps a boost with SEC affiliation, and continue to benefit from the momentum of our historical success, and we should be ok. Maybe even better than ok, if some things fall into place.

Times like those really instill a sense of gratitude for the good ole pig. Very smart, workmanlike animal that will take care of your trash for you. Thanks Arkansas.
