I have no idea what you are talking about.
This is about the young coaches preference to work and learn from Saban at Alabama instead of little Brian.

Nothing else to learn from Kelly, he was basically Kelly's protege.

And Joe Morehead rather stay at Akron than go to Bama
Moorhead wants nothing to do with the SEC again.
He is too soft of a coach to be in this league. Terrible at discipline I can’t see him working in Sabans program

So you think k this is a good reason to be happy about your hire?

He was to Kelly what Kirby was to Saban? I thought he was 30 years old?

The irony in this thread is that Saban almost assuredly asked Kelly about Rees and Kelly likely gave Rees a strong recommendation.
That’s reality though, we all know reality is a hard concept to grasp for “cajun”bama

cajunbama is a bama fan because he thought it would help him resolve his issues. Fortunately still not a cajun and thank god for that.

I honestly think Rees and Freeman were coming to LSU (at least Rees) prior to Freeman getting the job.
I don’t think many blame Rees for staying at ND and giving it go under Freeman.
I wonder how good he will be Bama. He only has 3 years of OC experience. I will give Saban the benefit of the doubt but it seems subpar for them.

BATON ROUGE - LSU is making moves to bring over more of Brian Kelly's staff from Notre Dame as the Tigers introduce their new head football coach on Tuesday. The Athletic reported Tuesday that LSU was in contact with offensive coordinator Tommy Rees and defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman in an effort to lure them away from the Fighting Irish. Reports said Kelly was helping with efforts to recruit his former assistant coaches.

And risk yet more public embarrassment when he got rejected again? The answer was pretty clear last year.
