The offenses are basically the opposite, with LSU ranked 2nd nationally in redzone scoring percentage and Alabama 46th.

LSU has been in the redzone 39 times and come away with 31 TDs and 7 FGs.

Alabama has been in the redzone 41 times and come away with 24 TDs and 11 FGs.

Spread offenses.

I may be wrong, but if Alabama faces a true spread offense (and quick throw QB w/speedy receivers) in a bowl game they might have some issues, but you never know unless it happens. It could be interesting matchup with their personnel and style of defense.

Ask Urban Meyer how the mighty spread worked against Saban's Defense

The reason they get there, is the same reason why they score.

Ha, i really liked that quote, for any team. Although spread passing teams seem to break down inside the 15 against good defenses since they can run the ball against 4 man fronts and their passing game is a lot easier to cover.

And TN used a 1st time started against y'all. LSU opponents combined records is 28-19 Gumps opponents combined records is 23-24. who would have thunk it. Don't pull up stats in Offense and Defense for the y'all opponents because you will be Very disappointed.

We've blown everybody out too, thus other teams could've scored "garbage" points on us...

Yeah, except you weren't playing Oregon, West Virginia and Auburn. Hell, Penn State couldn't score with a Bourbon Street hooker, and even they managed a garbage time TD on y'all.

Why don't we just ask Kyle Whittingham?

Ah LSU is in the top 25 in Pts/Gm, one spot below Bama.

Penn St plays all of their difficult opponents (except for Bama) in the final 4 weeks of their schedule. They lose, at minimum, 2 of their final 4 games. Most likely 3.

vs Illinois
vs #14 Nebraska
@ Ohio St
vs #15 Wisconsin

People predicted purdue or northwestern to beat penn st? Retards

Illinois is a toss up. Ohio St is pretty bad, but they can out talent Penn St. Wisconsin and Nebraska will take them to the wood shed probably.

Here are some stats for you PPG for each team Bama has played (minus the Bama game so you can't say they are that low because of Bama)

Kent St - 11.3 (would be 120th worst in the country)
Penn St - 25 (would be ranked 79th)
N Texas - 23.7 (would be ranked 88th)
Arkansas - 44 (would be 8th)

Vanderbilt - 29 (would be 62nd)
Ole Miss - 22.8 (would be 91st)
Tennessee - 28.3(would be 66th)

I wonder why no bama gumps have replied to this?
