I was surprised by these stats.

LSU's opponents had 16 drives inside the redzone and they scored on 15 of those drives. That is 94% of the time.

81 total points

5 rushing touchdowns

4 passing touchdowns

6 FGs

Alabama

6 scores out of 9 drives for 66.6%

39 points given up

2 rushing touchdowns

3 passing touchdowns

1 FG

That's also interesting in that LSU has allowed opponents into their redzone nearly twice as much as Alabama has.

Honestly, if you work that hard to get to the 20 against LSU...you deserve to be awarded points.

The reason they get there, is the same reason why they score.

I would be curious to know how many of those times were against WVU or Oregon.

It's probably a product of that great field position advantage LSU has due to their ST play.

Oh wait...

There is only one stat that matters. It won't be published for almost 2 weeks. I can't wait for this damn game.
