I really enjoyed the new 3:10 with Russell Crowe and Batman

The Hostel would be a good one to prepare for Auburn football.

I was going to say that and Little Big Man

Magnificent 7 - Denzel Washington. I thought it was an excellent movie, but that’s my opinion. Not a huge Denzel fan.

I think I have all the lines memorized from that one. I have it on DVD, probably seen it 100 times.

So many good ones already mentioned, but here is one that has not with John Wayne.
The Sons of Katie Elder

Original Magnificent Seven (Yul Brenner, Charles Bronson, Steve McQueen)
Rio Bravo (John Wayne, Angie Dickenson, Ricky Nelson)
Sons of Katie Elder (John Wayne)
Silverado
The Shootist (John Wayne)
Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid (Robert Redford, Paul Newman)
3:10 to Yuma (Russel Crowe, Christian Bale)
Original 3:10 to Yuma (Van Heflin, Glenn Ford)
El Dorado (John Wayne, Robert Mitchum, James Caan)
Unforgiven (Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman)
Can't go wrong with any of these, imo.

Try Stagecoach. This is movie where John Ford made John Wayne a star.

McClintock! is a great comedy/western.
Catherine O'Hara, Stephanie Powers, Patrick Wayne are also in it.

If you have a house dog, wait till that sucker goes to sleep and turn on Fistful of Dollars.
That dog will whip around from a dead sleep and stare at the tv when that Morricone song comes on. I don't know if that's a flute or piccolo (or possibly Zanfir? j/k) but it makes dogs lose their minds with curiosity.
(old bird hunter here) lol

Go back a little more in history and watch "Last of the Mohicans." Not just a great movie, but if Freeze loses this one, it will be prophetic.

I am partial to Open Range. It was the last movie I went and saw with my dad before he passed.

Coming to post this. My all time favorite western.
Same...except it is probably my favorite movie of all time, regardless of genre.
