It was a big mistake for the SEC to try to create a rivalry, they tried without understanding the dynamics of the state. We don't hate Missouri, hell most of us go up there to vacation. Love going to KC, Branson etc.. we are all the Ozarks.. there was basically little to know history between the schools.. it just didn't make sense.
Then putting them as the last game of the season, terrible decision. Arkansas just checked out, year over year. It would have been far better making it the first game of the season.
They are just now righting this ship.
