Personally, I’d rather Lane stay at Ole Miss because he is much less of a threat there than Florida or LSU. But he won’t. He wants to win a natty.

Someone asked if he had to bet which way he would lean. He said not be coach at OM. Yesterday the answer was he would bet he would be at OM.

Generally when someone flip flops as much as Neal does, it’s to drive engagement and leave an out for him when a decision is made. The phrase that throws a red flag up the most is “the situation is fluid”. The vast majority of the time, the situation is not fluid and is pretty concrete. I personally think Lane 90% has his mind made up already and I think it was made up after the Oklahoma game.
Neal flip flopping and saying “the situation is fluid” is just proof he doesn’t actually know what’s going on.

Neal loves a coaching search. That's what sells Rivals/247 subscriptions.
He pretends to know and he pretends to make things seem like there is information so that people will pay him a silly little fee. They're all the same, pretend they know what's going on and claim it with confidence so that fans trust them. It's the same with Buddy Martin (Florida) and Phillip Marshall (Auburn).
Everyone that I know that has an inside into our program is being oddly silent about it at all, almost like they already know but have agreed to keep it secret. And that's not good for the Gatas.

Same thing happened with Beard when Arkansas was coming after him. I didn’t hear from him for 4 days then 2 hours before Beard announced he was staying, I got a thumbs up emoji
