There's nothing worse than idiots that attempt to use the transitive property in an argument about football.

Well maybe cancer but that's about it.

UGA fans arguing about whether or not they could beat LSU shows their eyes aren't on the prize. Bama is not going to lose to Auburn and they are going to beat UGA.

That's right. TAMU showed how weak Bama's Secondary is. TAMU also showed that Bama can be beaten.

Does UGA have a Manziel in their back pocket?

We don't have JFF, but we do have "Gurshall".

LSU has twice the talent on offense than GA. They just choose not to use it most games and Miles likes to use conservative playcalling.

Um wut? Idiotic statement.

(no flame) Do UGA fans think it is detrimental to have to practice two weeks in a row for the option offense? How is the coaching staff handling that?

On the flip side, i'd think Bama hasnt spent much time prepping for auburn or western carolina, essentially having 3 weeks to focus on UGA.

Georgia can certainly play with Alabama, I think anyone who says differently is fooling themselves, even you CharlieH. And I got nothing but respect for you.

Now, I do believe UGA is the fourth best team in the SEC and are the beneficiary of not having to play any of the top three teams in the league to get where they are. But, it is what is.

They have the running game and beef up front defensively to play with 'Bama in the trenches.

Jones is certainly going to have to play well and be able to beat Koundjia and put pressure on McCarron, something LSU was unable to do but that A&M was.

Murray, he obviously can't turn the ball over like he has done in big games. And when Georgia gets their chances, they have to catch the ball.

The Kregg Lumpkin (03 title game) and Tavarres King (last year) drops were GAME-CHANGING plays. It seems to me, that Georgia is notorious for big drops in big games. The '02 game versus Florida comes to mind as well, can't remember the WR's name, though.

I think it is definitely detrimental. Bama can watch uga film and not even really gameplan for auburn. We have to practice in full pads 4 days in order to prepare for the cut blocks and relearn gap assignments. The gameplan advantage is definitely in Bama's favor. I doubt they look at too much auburn film. They'll be able to use their size and speed to woop the tigers.

i agree that bama wont have to spend much time worrying about what Auburn will do on either side of the ball.

Does Georgia really spend 4 days in full pads getting ready for the option? that sounds miserable this late in the season

LSU's offense gives everyone something to laugh at.

After having lived in Atl for 6 years this is the reason I can't stand UGA. The last part of the season this year when the Coaches opened up the offense a little bit more the LSU offense has proven to be quite good and, due to injuries, we're doing it with a make-shift offensive line.

It never fails, UGA can have 4 losses headed into the last game of the year and there will still be some of their fans that are upset because they're not in the talk for a national championship.

This year's offense is better than last because LSU now has a good QB and LSU monkey stomped UGA's arse last year. It would happen again.

It's more about practicing to defend the cut & chop blocks that these TO teams utilize. You have to tackle to the ground in practice to get better at defending the cut blocks...

I still don't understand how LSU goes to Atlanta if AL loses to AU? someone help me out, I know LSU, AL and TAMU all have the same record... just don't get the tie breaker, is it who has the best record against SEC west teams?

Lsu and a&m have an east and west loss... Bama would have two divisional losses. They'd be out. Lsu has the head to head over a&m.

But auburn isn't winning.

UGA is the only team that gets better over the season (see last year too after losing to blue field U)... Everyone else stays the same.
