That’s easy…stop reading. See, problem solved…just that simple. No thanks necessary.

And all it cost was the 1st amendment.

Part of the problem today is a lack of understanding of the Constitution. The first amendment guarantee of free speech is the freedom from arrest. It is to protects the people from the government. It does not protect people from consequences from public scrutiny.

He made a mental mistake

Agreed, but baseball is a game of pre-play mental preparation. What I mean is, before the ball is hit or the pitch made for the next play, really good baseball players are prepared mentally for what they are going to do in a particular situation should the ball be hit in their direction.

I assure you that before the ball may have been hit in his direction, Steven Milam would have already gone through the scenario in his mind. He would have known there was 1 out and the runner on second scoring ment nothing with a 2 run lead. He would have known that even if the double play wasn’t turned the runner from first would have been out a second and the tying run would not have been in scoring position.

That was more than just a mental error at that position in the ballgame. Good players don’t make that mistake, certainly, elite players like Alloy was made out to be, should NEVER make that mistake.

Elite SS’s make the play Milam made in the early innings where he went to his right, slid to field the ball and popped up to make a MLB throw for the out against Alloy.
That is an awesome honor and a great testament to the young man's character.

I love watching Chris play baseball. He always looks like he's totally enjoying himself and respecting the game. I love how excited he gets, not only when he accomplishes something on the diamond, but, more so, when his teammates make great hits and plays. He is always smiling.

Congratulations, Chris Stanfield!!!!

Little Rock feels like a team of destiny. Everything going right for them..

Little Rock feels like a team loaded with players who love to play the game and realize this is most likely their last moment in the sun, so to speak. If you listened to Cano's post game interview with Big Ben, Cano said...there are a lot of players on their (LSU's) team that will be playing for a long time...we're just enjoying this moment...(not exact quote, buy a summary).

NIL has made this almost like MLB...just waiting for the next contract. It really is hard to compete against a team full of kids that simple play "For Love of the Game"....

I can’t seem to find it, but has 9:30 first pitch been confirmed?

It is ridiculous to market product to people who can't outright buy it.

This is NOT the reason so many are on TV...the pharmaceutical companies know this. They're spending advertising dollars to control the narrative and the networks/news agencies that are raking in the billions...

The only thing I wish Jay had done in the offseason was to find a truly outstanding pitching coach.

I don't mean to hi-jack the thread, but I did not see this quote in the ABC News article that is linked in the OP...typical one sided reporting...if a Trump appointed judge would have ruled against a democrat case the first line would have been "Judge Joe Bleaux, appointed by Donald Trump, just ruled against..."

Disgusting.

What is an assault weapon?

Excellent question! Remember, the musket was once used as an assault weapon. This is just the left’s way of grabbing all guns.

Exactly like when the left only wants to tax “the rich”…before one falls for it, it’s best to find out their definition of rich.

100% THIS...if you would like a really good insight into this "mess" the courts have gotten us into read the book "The Ten Tortured Words"...I don't recall the author, but it is a very well written and eye opening book. I highly recommend it.

The way people on here talk about Johnson and Scalise lately, you'd think that would have made them happy.

There is absolutely some truth to that, but at the time of the redistricting, I'm not sure that was the sentiment...just a thought.

I believe Gov. Landry is a Louisiana first guy and that is a good thing...
quote:

Landry purposely got Graves re-districted out because Graves wouldn't kiss his ring.

Maybe there is something else that could be considered here...could it be that Graves voted against Scalise and Johnson (both Louisiana Congressman) for Speaker of the House.
