UGA still loses big games just like they did under Richt.
UGA fans are the ones dancing around that fact and trying to spin it to something else.

Coming from you guys this is rich. AU and LSU losing big and little games. Guess I'd rather lose the championship game in OT than lose to UK or UF. But thats just me

UF was 10th in the SEC rush defense in 2018. UGA finished 5th.

Grantham.

Keep making excuses.
He dominates sisters of the poor so your fanbase statheads can love him (he does this by not working in the younger players).
Then he gets dominated by the best teams he plays and the fan faithful dont know where that performance came from.

Still 50% in bowls. Texas beat them as great as they were supposed to be Last year.

Kirby is 2-1 in bowl games. He has been to 3 bowl games in 3 seasons. The one game he lost was the only ultimately meaningless game UGA played in the past 2 years.

UGA trying to compare itself to LSU and Auburn in the past 20 years is hilarious. Auburn has gone undefeated twice and LSU has won 2 NCs in that time.

UF's offense kept the defense on the field against Georgia, Mizzou, and Kentucky. Go look at UF's 3rd down conversion rate and TOP in all of those games. It was pathetic.

At minimum, half a season.

I will say UGA basically plays no one except Notre Dame prior to the WLOCP.

And yall will destroy Notre Dame - I have zero doubt about that.

Tell ya what.A sig bet that our RB,WR's and TE's have more total yards in SEC play than UF's.

Granthams 3rd down conversion rate was bad in the biggest games of the year?

Color me shocked?

Florida fans excusing Grantham?

SC is our 6th game. It will be here before we know it. Its closer to today than July 4th is.

Do you really think our skill talent is gonna not have a lot of success this year? You saw our talent level, aud it has good blocking and a really good QB.

Prove me wrong then. I could pull all the advanced stats right now for both Hendo and Marco.

Go for it...

"CB Duo"
Marco lost basically an entire season and has yet to prove anything in a game again since. Henderson obvs a very talented CB... But you're projecting "the best CB duo"... I'd say LSU and Alabama could easily make a claim to have a better pair there going into the season, even if you have the highest rated individual. It might end up differently, but that's speculation at this point. Couple that with razor thin depth at the position, where at a minimum, Bama, LSU, and UGA all definitely have a better 2 deep at the position (and a deeper nickel slot 2 deep as well)

"One of the best DL"
Auburn, Bama, LSU all easily outclass UF's DL... I suppose you can say that 4th place is still "one of the best" but I think we all know that wasn't your implication. Not to mention that with Polite now gone, UGA, USC and Texas A&M are all right about on par with what UF brings to the table on the DL and all likely have better depth.

quote:

Would you take UGAs WRs, TEs, and RBs over UF right now?

RB I would say yes, although UF has a ton of depth and Perine is no slouch.

But WRs and TEs? No, UF has far away the better skill at those positions.

RB... without question. Perine would be 2nd string at best, and there's no guarantees he'd get that job. There isn't another RB on UF's roster that would play anything other than mop up duty as far as performance thus far would indicate.

Tell me about this glorious TE trove you all have... Who am I missing from this list:
Career Receptions/Yards
7/58 Kemore Gamble SO TE
6/75 Lucas Krull JR TE
0/0 Dante Lang FR TE
3/73 Kyle Pitts SO TE
0/0 Andres Saldivar SR TE
So the entire room has a total of 16 receptions in their career unless someone was missing from your roster on sports-reference?

25/298 Charlie Woerner SR TE... Yeah I think I'll take this guy who has outproduced your entire room as the 2nd/3rd string TE at UGA up until now?

So the only position where you have a "better collection" is at WR... and I don't particularly like your talent group that much better there. It's got more returning production to be sure, but I don't know that I like it any better than our talent?

I'm not a "UF has a shite roster" kinda guy, but you've got the orange and blue glasses on a little too tight to make some of the claims you have here...

I was talking about the offense...

Against UK - UF was 7/13 (inflated late)
Against UGA - UF was 4/12 (majority in the first half)
Against Mizzou - UF was 3/15

TOP (rounded):
UF - 29 mins, UK - 31 mins
UF - 29 mins, UGA - 31 mins
UF - 25 mins, Mizzou - 35 mins

Look at your defense in those games.
Third down was atrocious.

If you want your offense on the field, get the ball back with your defense. Force a punt.

i mean are you really trying to say that UGA doesn’t have an argument to be in that 2nd tier we’re all in behind Bama?

Yep, and UGA is still the better program today. And that's not likely to change any time soon.

Your defense sucked arse getting the ball back to the offense. 12th in opponent 3rd down conversions in SEC play.
