lol lived in Cola in 2012-2013 and my parents still live there.

It still a pretty small downtown area. of course it has more than Clemson but it also will have a bunch of older people in those places.

I think Greenville has a cooler downtown than Columbia so you get the best of both worlds if you attend Clemson, true college town but close enough to a bigger city.

USC is right next to Charleston, Charlotte and Augusta National. Wow!

it seems like Clemson would be more known if only b/c of two natties in football.

O wait, were you seriously claiming Greenville as yalls? lol thats insane. Ill give you Anderson but thats about it. Yall are not in Greenville's range to just be claiming them

Clemson students go over to Greenville on occassion. The Fall for Greenville festival was a big draw, for example.

Obviously we went to the Anderson Mall and big box stores in Anderson too.

the reality is most Clemson students didn't want to be in a big city. lol That's a big part of the appeal for them.

most Clemson students, at least the ones within a few hour drive, go home every 3rd or 4th weekend or more often than that.

generally home is a bigger city than Clemson so any shopping can be done then. lol

Well then don't argue for Greenville. Its going against your point that Clemson students don't wanna be in a city.
