1 Florida, yes they have to share their fans with other Florida schools. But Florida is such a populous state, and they are a national brand.

2 Alabama may be number one, but they do share fans with Auburn so I put them here. Their fan base does spill over into to other States, however.

3 LSU does not have to share fans in the State of Louisiana.

4 Georgia, GT does take a small bite.

5 Texas A&M, populous state but many Texas schools.

6 Kentucky owns the State, with the exception of Louisville.

7 Missouri, only relevant university in the state.

8 Tennessee, UT is still the flagship but not by near the margin they once were. They are in retreat.

9 Auburn, too bad Bama has so many titles.

10 Arkansas, only relevant university in the state.

11 South Carolina must share the bowl with Clemson

12 Ole Miss the flagship

13 Miss State has a good following despite the low ranking

14 Vanderbilt, low ranking but growing. Tremendous opportunity to sell its brand.

Swap OM and State and you got it. State has probably 50% of the State of MS, OM probably has 30% USM has 10% and Bama 10%.

Looks pretty good IMO. I see a consistent trend on the Rant....the Vandy posters almost always know what they're talking about unlike most of the brainless dummies here

OM has a much higher fanbase outside the state so your argument is irrelevant

Pretty close, IMO. Not perfect, but close enough that there's no reason to argue.

Lower, Sorry Mizzou not trying to knock you guys, but yeah. A lot of people in Missouri cheer for their own schools, we have a lot of D2 directional schools. Missouri State def don't like Mizzou

Also might want to add in this part of the state you'll find a lot of HOG and SOONER fans.

I agree. I know Missouri have 6mil. But they don't get much support as people think.

Too low. We have the same football stadium size as Missouri (Plus a B-stadium in Little Rock) and much bigger basketball and baseball facilities

I lived there and no.

KC and STL are split with KU and Ill fans respectively.

Southern MO is split with Arkansas.

Plus there are more pro sports fans than college fans in that state.

Doesn't change the fact that Ole Miss is the flagship university of the state.

Put UT at 6. Kentucky probably has more fans than Mizzou.

I wonder whens the last time he's been to Arkansas. The fan base is HUGE. You see HOG shite EVERYWHERE in the state. Even down in the far SE corner by LA/MS.
