Or at least from the ones you’ve seen coach in the SEC.

1a. Saban
1b. Jimbo
3. Kirby
4. Mullen
5. Kiffin
6. Drinkwitz
7. Leach
8. The Fat Guy in Fayetteville
9. Stoops
10. Orgeron

1. Saban
2. Orgeron
The rest haven’t won a national title going through the SEC west or through a playoff.

When you realize your lightning in a bottle season at A&M means you struggle in the Orange Bowl vs a depleted fourth place ACC team.

Smarter than any Aggie coach in the last 80 years apparently.

Gus would be ranked higher than Jimbo and he just got fired. At least Gus won the west and SEC.

On pure resume:

Saban
Ed O
Jimbo
Kirby
Mullen

On perceived ability:

Saban
Kirby
Mullen
Jimbo
Ed O

honestly impossible for me to rank them. Saban is head and shoulders above the rest of them. I'd put Ed O, Jimbo, Kirby, Mullen in a separate tier. Pittman, Leach, and Kiffin in the next tier. Then after that, I don't even know.

1. Saban no doubt.
2. Mullen is a good coach, but his cockiness is already turning UF fans against him
3. O great recruiter, won a NC, needs to improve hiring practices
4. Kiffin good offensive coach, defense non existent
5. Kirby can recruit (cheat) but can't win the big games.
6. (tie) Stoops/Pittman both good coaches, hard to recruit in Kentucky/Arkansas
8. Drinkwitz solid coach, verdict still out
9. Jimbo is a joke! Like FSU, one great year, next year below average
10. Leach is Leach - below average in SEC

Really weird to cut down a coach that has a winning record over you guys. What does that say about your school?
