I'll ask a question that should REALLY rustle those Jimmies. That Committee moved people around after championship game losses and the SMU moral victory I contend got them into the playoffs.
If Texas knocked off UGA giving them loss 3, coupled with then losing their starting QB( remember FSU) does UGA lose their playoff spot?

Let’s see that 1 and 6 has a national championship title to it.
Since then Bama hasn’t won anything of significance since 2020…. an SECCG sure and you kept us out a playoff we will let you have that but we all know that eventually led to both nothing but sabans retirement.

UGA having 2 national championships more recently than Alabama
Alabama going 9-3 losing to Vandy, Tennessee, and Oklahoma and having to play in the fricking ReliaQuest Bowl with nothing to hang their hat on except beating the SEC Champions And a national Championship contender if Beating Georgia is Alabamas Super Bowl and on the Decline, which is clearly obvious with 9-3 then I’m ok with the 1-6 “problem” you say Kirby Smart has
