Oxford is growing...but it's not good growth (to me anyways obviously).

I've honestly had more fun in Hattiesburg than I have in Oxford or Starkville, but I wouldn't want to go to school there.

Hattiesburg is the better town out of the three.

People, especially college students, don't really give a frick about a state's overall obesity and poverty rates, and whether it's a few percentage points higher than Louisiana's. That's just totally inconsequential,

Exactly.

It's been many years since I have been to either campus...but I always thought Oxford was far nicer than Starkville.

Funny this should be the sticking point in this thread as I had this conversation with a life-long MSU fan and graduate just this morning. And older gentleman, fairly worldly and very level headed. He said, "I've been a Miss. State fan my entire life, but I would never move to Starkville. Now I would live in Oxford. There's just no comparison, really." I'll leave it at that. I was actually surprised to hear him say it, knowing how faithful he is to Miss. State.

Easy choice for a 17 year old recruit.

A free car, plenty of cash, prepaid gift cards, and zero supervision in Oxford

or

Just get a scholarship and have coaches enforcing a conduct policy in Starkville.

You figure it out.

Why is Ole Miss refusing to respond to the freedom of information request?

They claim this is all minor stuff related to womens basketball and track so why is Ole Miss willing to pay the penalty for not complying with the request?

Our Red Lobster is far superior to any restaurant in Starkville.

They refuse to respond. If you doubt that then you give a link to the NCAa charges.
