The time to talk shite was this season and last season. Coach is gone.

I don’t want Lane Kiffin but if LSU wants him, he’s coming, and I’ll enjoy the melt

Stupid.

LSU isn’t a “broke” school.

And it doesn’t even matter because the LSU Athletic Dept funds itself - no university funds are used for athletics.

I thought all SEC schools were this way?

LSU isn't going to pay his full buyout. Kelly's contract did not guarantee his full contract. From what I'm reading on Yahoo Sports and ESPN, if BK gets another coaching job his buyout will be reduced by his earnings from the program he's coaching. He's expressed he still wants to coach so he's not taking his ball and going home, he'll get another job and LSU's portion of the buyout will be reduced by millions.

Your "billionaires" have so far only put up the buyout money for the first two years. At the moment they're saying accounting tricks will make up the rest.

In other words they didn't have the money for the buyout when they fired Kelly. It's going to come from somewhere so either your next coach won't get the superstar contract or you won't have money to pay players in a couple years.

His name is Todd Graves. He’s worth $22 Billion. He gave LSU $30 million today to help with the buyout.
No he didn't.

Money laundering isn't theft.

The basketball hire was a tough one because of sanctions. Nobody wanted the job.

Academics and athletics are separate. Are our priorities messed up? Maybe. Our educated talent leaves the state anyways.

The broke asses gonna have to get a few co-signers lined up when they have to borrow the money.

I think having rich people is an absolute good. I am not someone who is envious of others' wealth. So don't take what I'm about to say the wrong way

But waste fricking pisses me off. Like, how are you this wealthy if you're willing to blow that much money on what's probably going to be a failed experiment in twenty-year-old-kid-driven vanity projects? It turns the whole concept of wealth as a biproduct of American Protestant work ethic on its head.

Who do you think stole the money, "LSU"?

The money was embezzled by the CEO of the hospital.

The government is constantly printing new money and all that new money gets thrown into the hands of a few, even though the value of all the money comes from everyone.

So those in the direct streams have more money than they know what to do with.

What you are really seeing is inflation in action.
