I want to appologize in advance for the complete Rantards who will look at our beatdown of Auburn as confirmation we can't be beat. Some of us know how evenly matched our teams are. I still give Bama the edge, because of homefield. However, the P&G n me, is feeling great right now.

Simple question.
Lots of media folks are saying, " I wonder how LSU will react to getting hit in the mouth by Bama, a team with just as much talent as themselves. Do you guys worry about the same thing? I think it's fair to say that neither team has been matched in talent ( on the field) this year.

I don't think either team will flinch by getting hit hard. I think both teams are evenly matched but it depends on who can control the line of scrimmage or who makes the most mistakes. I think it's gonna be an awesome game!!

I think we have a bit of experience with having to react to getting down early, since we have managed to do it in like 5 games this season. As far as talent goes, neither team has played anyone with the type of players they will be facing in two weeks. Oregon has some nice skill players, but their linemen and linebackers are weak.

Yeah I guess so. I can't remember a season with less "adversity." This first half was the closest we've come as far as that goes. We just haven't been tested, not even remotely.

As evenly matched and hyped a game that you are going to get.....Nov. 5th.... The difference in the game will come down to a few things. 1. Turnovers 2. Field position. 3. Special teams 4. Big/busted plays....if both teams play flawless, I think it is a toss up and home field advantage may take it.

Lsu won't buckle. This game will be won in the trenches.

IMO:

Lsu's weakness - LB's.. maybe giving Bama a chance to control the ball and the clock some.

Bama's weakness - AJ, as good as he's been and can be, showed tonight in the 1st half, he can get rattled some.

Going to be a great game. I expect both coaching staffs will have contingency plans. Lsu to shore up the run defense, where Bama is a power running team, where Lsu has seen more spread run games. And Bama to give AJ a quick passing game, limiting his time in the pocket and pressure from the Lsu D. Should be a terrific game.

I think that Saban will want to play it too conservative and rely on the running game, and I don't think that Bama will be able to run on our D-line. I say LSU by 14!

I'm just glad to have a game that has the attention of the Alabama defense from the get-go. We've been like a cat playing with a mouse for 8 games.

I'm actually not worried about how the overall team responds. Some of these guys played significant roles on the NC team. Just AJ really and that's nothing on him, just that he hasn't had to deal with it yet.

My biggest concern with AJ is how he responds to getting knocked on his arse. He hasn't even been sacked 10 times this season, or hit much at all really. LSU will be the first team that is able to knock him around consistently.

Talent wise I can't see a big flaw in either team.

I have looked and I just can't find it (wish i could find one in LSU)

I keep telling myself that this game can't be as good as it is being hyped to be but really it could be

If both teams come out and play up it could be the best game in recent memory

I don't really worry about it though. Saban has kind of broken me from worrying about games.

I'm glad the game wasn't played today. That slow first half shite has got to stop.

It's going to be a great game. I'm going to need strong sedatives for this one.

I feel it's about as evenly matched a game can be. I have a feeling the game may come down to some chicken shite play by either team. Possibly a tipped pass that gets returned or a muffed punt. The fact that it's in Bama, I am absolutely sure that any borderline calls are going to go Bama's way. I just hope they aren't in critical situations.

Really and truly Bama has always kinda seemed to jump out and hit people in the mouth under Saban and really just kinda let off. This year they finish and finish well .
