re: Why are Auburn fans so much smarter and better looking than Bama Fans?
Posted by Super Jay on 12/7/11 at 4:42 pm
I know that when you think of Alabama, you think of backwoods and rednecks. However, when they show their fans in the stadium (at a game), they all look preppy with well parted hair and well groomed...white bread.
re: The Origin of a Nickname: Mathieu and the Honey Badger

The honey badger possesses an anal pouch which, unusually among mustelids, is reversible, a trait shared with hyenas. The smell of the pouch is reportedly "suffocating", and may assist in calming bees when raiding beehives.[15]
re: Grading Saban's career

I have to admit, I did not look at saban's c.v. That way. However, he did come into Alabama and turn a struggling program with mediocre players into a national powerhouse again. A lot of the players he inherited went on to the NFL, but may not have without his very disciplined coaching style. Final note: he still WINS ballgames and fills the seats = brings in money
re: This is why we play Bama twice.

Although very interesting to talk about, this will never happen. Furthermore, what would be the talk if the loser of the nov. 5th game wins the NC? The NC losers, who won the nov. 5th game and sec championsip, will be asked to prove themselves too much IMO. If these two teams would play each other 10 times, each team would win 5 of the 10.

re: Question for Bama Fans ( no flame )

As evenly matched and hyped a game that you are going to get.....Nov. 5th.... The difference in the game will come down to a few things. 1. Turnovers 2. Field position. 3. Special teams 4. Big/busted plays....if both teams play flawless, I think it is a toss up and home field advantage may take it.
re: Why are all the experts picking UF over Auburn?
Posted by Super Jay on 10/15/11 at 11:45 am
I guess the experts can't fathom UF losing 3 in a row. Kind of like betting on black when red has come up multiple times in a row on roulette. What they don't understand is the odds are still the same on each spin!

Great Idea....2:30 game will be fine...people get a lil rowdy for an 8 and 10 y/o in the later hours. Nonetheless, i would bring my kids there for an earlier game.
re: Talk me off the ledge

I think our players understand the significance of each and every game. It's being drilled in there heads "one game at a time". I've seen actions from the players on the field this season that suggests they do understand the BIG picture...which is to win a championship. Furthermore, most of our players know HOW TO WIN and EXPECT TO WIN. This kind of confidence is tough to beat. Tennessee sure isn't. This game, although we will have a few mistakes, should be stress-free!

I know there are plenty of variables with why the SEC is so good. However, y'all have to admit, the young ladies that go to these schools are unbelievably cute, pretty, gourgeous...you name it! I think this is very tempting for young high school players to see and is bait they cannot resist. What do y'all think?
