Halftime doesn't matter, it's the final score that wins the bets.

There are photos of his hand about an inch from the football. Trying to punch out the football is completely legal.

Hitting a player in the head is illegal. It does not matter if he was aiming at the ball. It should have been a personal foul.

That’s a question of intent. But an objective person that watches that game and thinks it wasn’t atleast obvious in favoring Bama is a moron.

The calls were objectively pathetic and did circumstantially happen to break in ways that benefited Bama more than Tennessee in the 2nd half. Tennessee also epically shite the bed which had nothing to do with refs. None of this is hard. Bama posters are way more vocal and annoying about this than anyone else

Agree with this. UT play calling tightened up in the second half. They tried to run out the clock instead of playing like the first half. Heupel deserves a lot of blame for those loss.

But how anyone could’ve watched that game and say the refs didn’t benefit Bama is insane

There's a rule of thumb , that only those
who lose the game , bitch about officiating.
There is no exception to this rule.

As a Bama fan don’t you want your team to go out there and earn it without the refs protecting you at every turn?

Tenner's only red zone TD came on an illegal pick play.

Melt MOAR, bitch.

Why does it bother Alabama fans that UT is complaining about this? You still won.

Bc they can’t face the reality that their success is artificial.

You must have extremely really busy after the 2021 championship corralling all your fellow Georgia fans complaining about the Jameson Williams injury excuse.

and he was trying to punch the football out. That’s what players are supposed to do. Just because it looks mean doesnt make it a penalty. A forearm that runs against a helmet while playing football isn’t a penalty. Maybe a QB in the NFL gets that call because they go out of their way to coddle QBs, but a college RB doesn’t get that call ever.

You don’t watch football.

Textbook targeting if it wasn’t a late hit or unnecessary roughness. Take your pick.

Regardless, his supposed intent to ”go for the ball,” which is a hell of a fricking assumption based on that clip, matters zilch.

quote:

Leading with helmet, shoulder, forearm, fist, hand or elbow to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area

Again I ask, how are Tennessee fans universally so fricking stupid?

Look at the actual rules. A hand or arm touching a helmet isn’t necessarily a penalty. Linemen hit each others helmets all the time. You need more than that.

In the clip Bruce Young wasn’t a defenseless player. In that circumstance you need more than just a hand touching a helmet for it to be a penalty.

Here’s an article if you want to read about it: LINK

Because we needed another thread about the officiating in UT and Bama

If only SEC Shorts would do a skit about this.

I saw blatant holding by Alabama on several plays. Come on Bammer, you know as well as anyone ONE penalty for FIVE yards the ENTIRE game is bull. Of course being a Tennessee fan, I fully expect to get hosed every time we play in Tuscaloosa. LSU better be prepared to lube their anus. Tennessee did not play well the second half and some of the fourth down decisions by the UT coaches were not good in my opinion. Bama came out and played better in the second half, but let's not kid ourselves, they did get some help from the zebras.

Do you think that was part of their grand scheme to let UT go up, fake everyone out into thinking that they were going to fair, only to drop the hammer in the 2nd half?

You answered your own question.
