If the refs were all in for Alabama, why did they let UT go up 20-7 at halftime?
Do you think that was part of their grand scheme to let UT go up, fake everyone out into thinking that they were going to fair, only to drop the hammer in the 2nd half?
I really would like an explanation as to how this makes any sense.

You're asking for irrational people to think rationally.

It's a tale as old as time.. conveniently forget that Bama is one of the most penalized teams in the country and ONLY focus on the excuses as to why Bama beat [insert team here].

It'll never change... and the tears are so salty, delicious.

And Vol fans should rewatch the game from last year where the penalties were way out of line in Tennessee's favor. Note the targeting/ roughing the qb hit on Bryce Young that the ref did not call and the would be game ending interception by Kool aid that the homer ref called back after Kool Aid had returned it 40 yards before the ref threw a flag.

Another Bama thread trying to justify the refs’ bias. Why are y’all so defensive this week?

Defensive? I asked a simple question, which to this moment, no Vol has answered.

Your team's only win over Alabama since the advent of the iPhone is due to the guy circled running across the field to throw a flag with the returner on the 30 yard line, even though his buddy was 3 feet from the play.

Why does it bother Alabama fans that UT is complaining about this? You still won.

You gulps are definitely defensive this week about the refs protecting you

To answer your question: the refs don’t have absolute control of a football game. UT went up early because their players made plays. Much like how Bama’s players outplayed UT in the second half. They played great football in the second half and it’s a shame how their performance has been overshadowed by the refs. As a Bama fan don’t you want your team to go out there and earn it without the refs protecting you at every turn?

You gotta blame somebody. You got shut down in the red zone time after time. Stopped off 4th and inches time after time. You get out scored 27-0 in the 2nd half. That only happens because you got your a$$ beat.

So, your answer is, in the 1st half your players made plays to go up 20-7 without the refs playing a part at all.
In the 2nd half, Alabama players made plays but we only really won because the refs got involoved?
That doesn't answer my question, if the refs wanted Alabama to win the whole time, why would they let UT go up in the 1st half? Why wouldn't they get involoved the whole game?

Because our calling you people out for being mentally retarded sore losers makes you melt harder than you already are, and that, my friend, can be injected directly into my veins.

Well:

1. He never made contact with the football, but that’s a moot point.

2. The play was over, and he came flying in with a forearm to the back of a player’s head. At the very least, it should have been either a late hit, or targeting, by definition.

How are Tennessee fans universally so fricking stupid? Do you people not watch football?

There are photos of his hand about an inch from the football. Trying to punch out the football is completely legal.

The player wasn’t down and he was trying to punch the football out. That’s what players are supposed to do. Just because it looks mean doesnt make it a penalty. A forearm that runs against a helmet while playing football isn’t a penalty. Maybe a QB in the NFL gets that call because they go out of their way to coddle QBs, but a college RB doesn’t get that call ever.

Everyone calls out the SEC refs protecting Bama and Bama posters those their damn minds

The calls were objectively pathetic and did circumstantially happen to break in ways that benefited Bama more than Tennessee in the 2nd half.

Tennessee also epically shite the bed which had nothing to do with refs.

None of this is hard. Bama posters are way more vocal and annoying about this than anyone else

Its so funny How the Bammers, don't have a problem with refs until they get beat. Last year at LSU after their loss, they were crying on every forum board about " one supposley
block in the back when JD ran for the final TD in game. They posted a pick of Mason taylor behind their Linebacker. Then when someone from LSU showed the complete pics of the play, Mason taylor was in front of the guy blocking and let the guy get in front of him and quit blocking.

Once these pics were shown, Bama fans were like " crickets LMAO
