There is nothing better than a blowout win. Yes with a last second FG or the way the Auburn game ended last year there is that top shelf celebration that goes on for hours that a blowout doesn't have but to watch your team go out and manhandle a foe is still more fun.
I think it was like 09 and Bama is playing Ole Miss and Ole Miss can't do shite. It's like the 2nd qtr when Marcell Dareus runs down a screen and the sideline mic picks up Dareus telling the Ole Miss player "you don't belong on the same fkn field as us".

Joyless murder-ball is my preference. But those days are gone I'm afraid.

I grew up watching, with a few exceptions (most notably in 1992), a mediocre Alabama team year in and year out. Sure there would be a good year here and there but overall the product was generally the same or worse.

It wasn't until after I'd graduated college that we hired Saban and went on this run.

If I could watch an absolute gutting every single week, I would gladly do so.

just winning is satisfying regardless of the score, but beating the hell out of L2u is most satisfying.

I’d rather win by 40 every week

Bama got Bear Bryant and we never thought we would see that again. Then they hired Saban. It for sure won’t happen again.
After Saban Bama will be like the 80s and 90s and early 2000s version of themselves. The state doesn’t produce enough talent to put up a wall around the state. Chances are they won’t get the 3rd beat coach in college football history. They will go out and hire a great coach but it won’t be Saban or Bear Bryant and 3-4 years after Saban is gone Bama will be a great program but won’t be winning nattys every year. They will be like a Ohio State, Miami, FSU, Clemson, LSU and win a natty every 10 years. I think the 12 team playoff may help all of this with athletes realizing they can go to schools outside of Bama, OSU, and Clemson and play in the playoffs.

Have you considered the possibility that 2022 Alabama is also Alabama Lite?

I think he has and he realizes that Georgia needs to do it for about 12 more years
in a row to be Bama Heavy.

You seem to think you are there now. Which is cute.

Bama sucked pretty bad during the fourth quarter of the NC. Defensive breakdowns, Interceptions, groundings and sacks. Too funny!

Georgia had 7 beatdowns from 'Bama in a row, so they were well acquainted with what all of those looked like.

That’s history. Bama isn’t Bama anymore and you know it too.

I think NIL will cap Bama a little. I’m sure they would have gotten 3 guys from A&Ms class had they not paid for them.

I really like a watching Bama beat down other teams but after a while it does get a little boring I have to admit and you start taking things a little granted I guess.

Every now and then a good close last second win like last week against Texas or Auburn last year is a awesome feeling. 2nd and 25 was like skydiving. You get a good rush from a win like that. Most of the time though you just want to win big so you don’t need to sweat. Close wins though can help a team though. It puts hair on the teams nuts and should wake up any sleepwalking team.

Do I think Georgia is on Alabama's level historically? Of course not. We're not even close.
What's cute is 33-18. In fact, it's adorable.

I like exciting games, but not if they're close because of poor play. 2012 SECCG is one of my favorite games ever. 2008 SECCG was great too, even though we lost.

It does get a little bland at times, but there are usually 3 or 4 games during the season that will hold your attention throughout the entire game.
The important thing to me is for them to perform to their capability.

I just want Alabama to play well. If they do, and Bama loses, then I can deal with that. I hate it when Bama helps the opponent win.
The actual score makes little difference in a win where we play well.
