Why would you think they can score 34 away from home when this is how they’ve done?:

Scored 27 @ Vandy
20 @ Arky
17 @ A&M
19 vs UGA

20.75 avg

Those aren’t exactly great defenses across the board.

think Georgia and ND will be a coin flip. Georgia will have not played in a month, trying to shake that rust off on offense with a backup QB is a recipe for disaster. ND is strong on both fronts, and they have a mobile QB (Georgia struggles with those).

You're forgetting that Kirby has 24 days to prepare. That's lethal.

I also feel that Ohio State will flip the script this time on Duck.

The title game will be Georgia vs. Ohio State.

And no hard feelings but I just don't think Georgia has enough left in the tank to overcome Ohio State.

So the media and committee will say see SEC ain't shite.

I wouldn't be mad to beat ASU 34-17.

I think Boise will beat Penn St. They are a punt or kick return stop away from being undefeated and beating the #1 team in the country. They'll have a lot to prove in this game.

Oregon vs Ohio St will be an interesting match up.

Be pulling for GA but I don't see them winnning without beck. It'll still be a close game.

I think people need to realize that Stockton doesn't have to be great for UGA to win. He just has to be "good enough".

The reality is ND's QB is not very good. He run well but his passing high is 229 yards against Stanford this year. The most talented defense he faced was A&M He had 158 yards passing, 63 yards rushing and 0 TD's.

It's not a ridiculous thing to suggest that Stockton is a better QB than Leonard. Less experienced... but Leonard simply isn't very good.

201 yards passing and 30 yards rushing against IU.
155 yards passing and 50 yards rushing against USC.
203 yards passing and 51 yards rushing against GT.
163 yards passing and 52 yards rushing against Louisville.

Yeah, he had big rushing games against Navy, Miami of Ohio and Purdue... but he's simply not a good QB. And UGA's defense is pretty good.

I honestly think UGA could start their true freshman 4th string QB in this game and would still win 7 out of 10 times against ND. ND is the perfect opponent for UGA to go conservative and let their new starter get his bearings yet still win.

ND doesn't have the offense to make it a high scoring game. Not against the UGA defense. ND didn't break 400 yards of offense against Indiana.

PSU is similar which is why I like UGA's situation so well even with a new QB. Allar had 127 passing yards against SMU. His best yardage total against a "P4" team was an OT game against SC... where he did pass for 394 yards but had 3 picks. They still only managed 30 points in regulation.

Other than that it was 247 vs Purdue, 244 vs Minnesota, 226 vs Oregon, 220 vs UW, 216 vs WVU and the rest less than 200 yards.

UGA is facing at best "mediocre" QB's up until the championship game. It's a great situation to have when dealing with a QB injury.

The guy has played less than a 1/2 of football in his career lol. Riley has the 3rd highest pass efficiency in the nation since October plus look at his rushing stats. Not saying he’s great but the fact that you’re insinuating that you’ll have an advantage at QB is fricking hysterical. Come on.Georgia is a really good team and you highlight that?

I’m not sure why, but I think Boise might pull off the W over Penn St. Ohio St/ Oregon is a coin flip game, could go either way. Agree with the other 2 for sure

He literally played all of a half and OT against #5 Texas in the SECCG.
He also played a full half against #6 FSU in UGA's bowl game last season.

And all but 5 minutes of the second half against one of UGA's cupcakes this year.

And another 10 minutes against the other cupcake (unlike some teams, UGA only had two cupcakes this season).

And another 20 minutes in various games taking 3rd string snaps last season.

But yeah... over 120 minutes of game time taking snaps, half of that against top 6 opponents at neutral sites. That's... less than a half.

Because...

reasons.

Riley Leonard stats against playoff teams this year:

23 of 32 (71%) for 201 yards passing, 1 TD, 1 INT. 30 yards rushing... vs Indiana.

Gunner Stockton stats against playoff teams this year (just a half, with no first team preparation as he came into the game due to injury).

12 of 16 (75%) for 71 yards passing, 0 TD, 1 INT. 8 yards rushing vs Texas.

Considering the quality of the defense they played and the fact Stockton had to come in cold at half... yeah, I think Stockton may in fact be a better QB than Leonard.

That's not a big stretch. Leonard is not a good QB.
