Pussy Bruins back out of series against Auburn in 27/28

UCLA announced it will no longer face Auburn in a home-and-home series, previously scheduled for 2027 at the Rose Bowl, and 2028 back on the Plains.

That sucks, but probably will boost their strength of schedule.

Well, seeing how UCLA cancelled their UGA and AU series in order to play Cal OOC every year... and Auburn actually beat Cal last season... I'd say probably not.

Hearing rumors all these out of conference games being canceled because a nine game SEC schedule is going to be announced for 2026 at SEC media days Monday.

Yeah I mean not much appeal there from their standpoint. Of SEC teams only Vanderbilt has lost more games in football this decade than Auburn. And they keep falling further behind in recruiting. Best to cut their losses before Auburn has to replace their coach again.

I’d imagine they’ll have their hands full booking flights all over the country. They go to Hawaii and Rutgers this year. Good grief…

With 12 team playoff, I guess many teams will just play their conference schedule, an fcs game, a g5 game, and hopefully at least one Power conference game

USC canceled on us and we were doing a home and home in 2025 and 2026. Frustrating. I was looking forward to it.
