I would call it entitled rather than grandiose. Bama fans think their team deserves more than other teams. That sense of entitlement gets reinforced regularly by several institutions. Therefore, it is reality based and not grandiose.

Auburn be better with a loss to LSU also on their resume?

They will take injuries into consideration. Lost to defending Champs by 8 and if possible will have beaten #1, #1, and #6 with an SEC title.

Not saying it will happen but finishing that strong will get the benefit of doubt for many. Heck, we're ranked 6th with 2 losses...

Hell, I'm an Auburn fan and I could see this happening. It's a stretch, but possible. Just takes a team like Wisconsin to shite the bed

Well, I would hope Auburn would make it but precedence has been made that even a one loss team can go over a two loss League champion.

See OSU over Penn State just last year.

However, one of Penn States losses came from OSU and Bama's loss would be to Auburn to end the season so it is highly likely that scenario wouldn't happen in this case. Beating two #1's and a top 5 or 10 Uga in the SECCG would be a very good finish and resume for the playoffs.

Actually buddy, I think most of us were saying that had we lost to Miss State but then won out, we’d have had a better chance of making the CFP than a two loss Auburn team who wins out.

Bama could get in with a Iron Bowl loss. If OU loses.

SEC Champ
ACC Champ
Big Ten Champ
Bama

If they take injuries into account, then Bama has a very good chance to get in.

Bama will be hell on anyone they play in the playoffs, because Bama will have most of their LB back.

More about who loses. A couple of teams tanked it is why Alabama got in in 2011.

Well why don't you go talk to your friends rather than start a thread here? Jesus Christ what a pointless thread.
