Yea, I was just trash talking how redneck the MSU fanbase is, especially in comparison to Ole Miss.

I would say the Egg Bowl, but I don’t know if MSU has enough incest within their ranks to carry the whole state. I’m sure it’s still close, either way.

After watching Swamp People I feel like it’s a damn near certainty that Louisiana is one of the most inbred places in our universe. Therefore, their rivalry with Arkansas could take the cake, even if Arkansas only has a handful of incestual families. I mean, seriously, have y’all seen Swamp People?? That whole show probably started out as a home video of their family reunion.

On a side note, thanks to Honey Boo Boo and her huge Mama, I don’t think we can leave out Georgia fans completely. Mama June definitely seems to be from some infamily romancing.

Dude, he’s not saying Auburn can’t or doesn’t have success. He’s just saying that it’s not at the level of Alabama, both historically and currently. He’s just saying that Gus would’ve have a chance to go from the smaller big state school to the MAIN big state school. It’s not a knock.
It’s a package deal for me...give me Stockton and Malone. Greatest duo in NBA history.

Bama Boom

Did anybody in central Alabama hear the loud boom noise at 1:49 this afternoon? James Spann is calling it the “Bama Boom”, but isn’t sure what caused it.
I’d take Saban, and not just because we’re doing so well in football. He’s a great delegator and great at evaluating athletic talent. Coach A (Avery Johnson, our basketball coach) plays pickup basketball games with Coach Saban and has said he’s very basketball knowledgeable.

Now, in a previous time period, had it been Coach Shula or Franchione coaching opposite Coach A, I’d have picked Coach A, cause he’s excitable, a great motivator and recruiter, and is very marketable for the University. Plus, he’s a well-known football fan who, according to Coach Saban, is knowledgeable about the game.

I’ll bite - who is the player at AU that you want to make sure we know is a legit Heisman candidate?

Isn’t it Carlson? I thought everyone knew that.
If Damien got 7-8 more carries a game it’d be him, just because he’d looking at 1600 yards on 190 carries with 16-18 TD’s through this point of the season. But, alas, he doesn’t have to play that much. Same goes for Jalen.

Calvin is another player who is Heisman talented, just not getting the ball enough.
That’s an awesome amount of wins for a college career. If Bama wins at least two more games this year, those seniors will have averaged 13 wins a season...unbelievable.

Bama has never defeated us when Auburn has won 10 games a year.

Well, I mean, y’all have only had thirteen 10 win seasons buddy, whereas we’ve had 38.

AND, not to burst your bubble even more, but y’all won 10 games in 1974, and we beat y’all in the Iron Bowl 17-13. So, while it is rare, we HAVE beaten y’all during one of y’all’s 10 win seasons

Actually buddy, I think most of us were saying that had we lost to Miss State but then won out, we’d have had a better chance of making the CFP than a two loss Auburn team who wins out.
