Will it be a smear campaign when Pruitt inevitably gets hit with a show cause by the NCAA from their own independent investigation?
Posted on 1/19/21 at 1:00 am to KellerChrystFan
Yea because the Vols initiated this whole process and invited the NCAA to town.

Not going to be fair. Got to give Pruitt the "Associate HC and DC title" elsewhere to keep him away from Alabama.

Tennessee fired its AD and whole recruiting department just to save a few million on a buyout.
Here’s one for you smooth brain, assuming full capacity next season, it would’ve cost UT more money to keep Pruitt this year than to fire him next.
But yes, let’s go with the dumbass theory that suggests TN set Pruitt up and fired their HC, AD, recruiting staff in late January in addition to putting a target on their back with the NCAA. This is easily the dumbest shite I’ve read on the internet.

If anyone knows about dumbass theories, it would be you or smokeyone, but y’all are likely wrong yet again.
Who said the vols set Pruitt up? The internet investigation wasn’t a set up. It was a dirt finding mission, and the dream would have been to pay zero rather than $12.6 million+.
Considering how incompetent the vol leadership is, it’s entirely possible their plan blew up in their faces, and here we are. Ncaa all over your asses, and nothing but a mess of epic proportions.

Yep this was an intricate plan by Donde Plowman to overthrow Fulmer and Pruitt.
If they really wanted Pruitt gone Jim Haslam would’ve stroked the check back in December when everyone else was hiring coaches.
Please stop commenting on the situation. You’re either a fricking, loser who trolls message boards all day or just plain stupid as frick in which case I’m sorry, but there’s no help for you. Just accept it.

Nothing intricate about the plan, but of course the vols fricked a simple plan up.
As for your advice. I will continue to enjoy watching you and the vols flagellate over yhe fall from mediocrity towards the bottom of the CFB ocean. No fan base deserves it more.

The little bitch President should have left off the part about JP spending his life savings. How small can you get.

Pruitt would be on the stand to discuss UT, nothing more, anything else is irrelevant. If he implicated UGA, Bama, Saban, or Smart then they would have a chance to testify too...which would have zero to do with Pruitt's buyout situation. No judge is going to sit through a circus of nonsense hoping other programs get caught up in something that doesn't involve them. Think. Moron.

IOW, we cheat. We picked a homeboy who would never be honest about it, even in court

Meanwhile, more than one SEC school is quietly telling TN to pay the man his money to keep from dragging them down with the Vols.
This could be interesting to watch.

Niedermeyer knows the story and at some point he well tell the truth. We'll see who is on 1st base then.

This is just amazing. I mean we really give people way too much credit for being smart in these jobs and they completely shatter that myth.
12 million dollars buyout and you decide instead to set the football program back years. The barn just paid over 20 mils. The NZAA will take forever to resolve. Players will leave this sinking ship faster than you can say Titanic. Really good coaches aren't coming and if you think that's what you have with Kevin Steele, history says you're brain dead. Pruitt has now clearly shown you that he's not going gently into the night.
How many programs wouldn't give 12 million to buy their way out of the NZAA purgatory Tennessee willingly and thoughtfully put themselves in? This group on the hill has to be the biggest buffoons I have ever seen in my football life. Either Tennessee is completely broke or they are willingly and thoughtfully digging their own graves faster than you can say boot hill.

I love how everyone on this board thinks they're lawyers. You clearly don't know how the rules of evidence work and I wish you'd all STFU trying to play like you're on Perry Mason or some shite. That testimony would be relevant on the issue of his coaching habits, reputation and character, which is therefore relevant testimony in a hearing which centers around the integrity of a HC and program. Now, whether that testimony could actually be used against any other program/HC is a different story, but you better believe that it would be damaging to have that information come out in any context, but especially under oath. What is far more likely is that it will come out in a deposition rather than in open court infront of a judge, and there will be countless motions in limine to exclude any of those statements.
But why am I even wasting my time explaining this to all you legal scholars out there?
