If you can't understand why TN is ranked the way that they are, YOU are the one who needs an eye test. Is 2022 TN perfect? absolutely not. Is 2022 TN an aggressive team with great chemistry and a demonstrated history of wins? frick yes.
The vast majority of TN fans aren't going to melt if we don't beat GA because we're all so used to losing. But damn it's been fun beating FL, LSU and Bama and I would have a coronary if we could actually pull out a win on Saturday.

I see your point and maybe you're right, but I think that his record as HC is also indicative of his capabilities as a coach in any capacity. You have to keep in mind that for all of his success at Alabama and FSU, he was under the control of great HCs and had top-quality asst coaches. When given the reigns to run the show, he flopped. That speaks volumes about coaching abilities IMO.

I love how the same people who have talked shite about Pruitt for 3 years are now painting Pruitt like an innocent victim in this firing deal. At the end of the day, the HC is responsible for what goes on with the staff and team. period. so, either he's a complete idiot who was alienated by everyone around him (likely), or he knew about it and was in on it (also likely). Whatever is about to happen can't be worse than what's been happening with the program for the past 10 years. We'll likely be irrelevant for years to come but I think most TN fans' spirits have been broken for years now, so what's the difference? Oh no, will we lose to GA State again?! Give me a break. :lol:

I love how everyone on this board thinks they're lawyers. You clearly don't know how the rules of evidence work and I wish you'd all STFU trying to play like you're on Perry Mason or some shite. That testimony would be relevant on the issue of his coaching habits, reputation and character, which is therefore relevant testimony in a hearing which centers around the integrity of a HC and program. Now, whether that testimony could actually be used against any other program/HC is a different story, but you better believe that it would be damaging to have that information come out in any context, but especially under oath. What is far more likely is that it will come out in a deposition rather than in open court infront of a judge, and there will be countless motions in limine to exclude any of those statements.
But why am I even wasting my time explaining this to all you legal scholars out there? :doublebird:
