Yeah, I remember Logan Young.

Know what I remember most about him? He never went to prison. He died while still free with his case under appeal.

As our fine LSU friend pointed out however, the Miami booster is still behind bars.

Sweet fail though.

This is not going to end very well at all for the University of Tennessee Knoxville and could spell the end of the program, as we know it, for years and years.

And do you really think a University doesn't have the resources to hire an attorney as capable as one of their employees?

Why should the University hire an attorney when they can go to any number of internet forums, such as this one, and get plenty of legal advise?

UT has about $31,000,000.00 on the line and has done a masterful job of saving most of it. Pruitt is fired for breach of contract in not properly overseeing his department....not any outside indiscretions... No reason to bring up anything or anybody else.

Why does anybody think those inbred hillbillies could recognize, much less hire a competent lawyer. Their program is in the crapper and they are grasping at straws trying to look better by blaming every other program in the SEC. They are the laughing stock of the conference. Just enjoy their whining for what it is, a bunch of losers trying to cover their own stupidity. Just take your punishment like men UT, try actually earning your way back to being relevant in the SEC.

He was hired in 2017? I feel like he’s only coached two seasons

Yep, his last game as bama DC was the 2nd and 26 game. He coached 3 seasons at UT. He's finally free.

Especially if the part about UT having no proof of Pruitt’s direct knowledge or participation In important violations.

It's his responsibility and obligation under NCAA rules to have knowledge of what his staff is doing. So he's basically admitting to failure to monitor, the same thing that landed Freeze a show cause.

No doubt that is true, but when you send the AD, his boss, off the same day with praise in an “unrelated” retirement, you are pretty clearly showing your hand that the HC Is the scapegoat. When there has been smoke for weeks as reported by numerous individuals, it doesn’t help the narrative that they are just trying to avoid the buyout.

Pruitt’s best case is UT settles for 2 million so he will stop being a little bitch about being fired justly.

Lol at thinking they would fire him for cause then settle for the full buyout. They’d let it go to court before doing that.

EVERYTHING about UGA and Bama will come out...under oath in a court of law.

"Mr. Pruitt, could you describe for the court your standard recruiting practices when you were employed at the University of Alabama and the University of Georgia?"

"Objection. Irrelevant."

"Sustained."

It's really comical that you actually believe this.

Both sides have to agree to arbitration. If not it is settled in the courts. UT absolutely WILL NOT arbitrate this one.

You really are one dumb motherfricker if you think anything Alabama related will be discussed under oath, given that it's completely irrelevant to anything Pruitt did at Tennessee.

Only one school in history had a booster go to jail for being so filthy.

Name that school.

Her is a hint: They later murdered the booster.

The fact that you apparently have never heard of Nevin Shapiro just proves once again that you're just a dumb motherfricker who doesn't know shite about college football.

Seriously. How is it that someone who supposedly knows a thing or two about what happens in a court of law and about college boosters going to jail has never heard of Nevin Shapiro?

You're an idiot. You're in a hole, and you just keep digging.

This looks to be no more than a UT smear campaign against Pruitt to save some cash. I wouldn't expect anything less from UT. I said he would regret being the head coach of UT, and I wasn't wrong. Working for a scumbag like Phil Fulmer should have been all he needed to decline the opportunity.

Yeah multiple level 1 violations and the NCAA investigation have absolutely nothing to do with Pruitt getting fired.

It’s all a smear campaign against good guy Pruitt.

Yep. Freeze got a show cause for the exact same shite. He’s the head ball coach. Precedent is already set. And the rest of it is bullshite crybaby claims about not getting a chance to respond.

Tennessee did not conduct a smear campaign just end up coachless and without an AD in fricking late JANUARY just to save a few million. Fulmer would’ve been orchestrating it if that dumbass claim were even remotely true, yet Fulmer was hellbent on keeping him.
