Pruitt has his plan in full motion and it’s working splendidly.

He is a Bama man, after all.

That is a horrible comparison.

The Titanic stayed afloat for nearly 3 hours. UT's season was sunk by the 3rd quarter against GSU.

This one is on Phat Phil.

Well the Chancellor that hired him has also been fired. So why isn't it on Beverly Davenport? For that matter why isn't it on the President of the UT system Joe DiPietro who hired her?

The correct answer is that it is on the entire UT system board of trustees, who have been making one bad hire after another.

UT Board of Trustees

Vols should be focused on this band of idiots, but instead are blaming the QB.

I guarantee if you confronted Pruitt about how this was a really poor analogy to use, he would berate you for being too dumb or too much of a liberal crybaby to understand what he meant. It’s not his fault he’s the smart one and we are all idiots.

How does Tennessee keep getting these idiots who use terrible analogies and motivational speeches.

I'm starting to think it's a job requirement.

Saban compared the Louisiana Monroe loss to Pearl Harbor and 9/11 after losing to them in his first year.

He damn sure did. His presser a few days after that before the Iron Bowl is still the greatest of all time. He basically told every reporter in that room to frick off.

I remember that.

That was after DJ Hall's suspension was magically reduced from a game to one half after the Warhawks launched their Mitsubishi Zeros towards the Capstone.

He's a dead man walking at this point. It's just going to get worse. It was a horrible hire and everyone knew it. Fulmer hired him for a reason

So in this Titanic analogy, does Phil Fulmer play the role of the iceberg?

Tennessee will be able to beat Chattanooga Choo Choo, but they come to the Swamp where Meister Hans Franks is commanding a Uboat will full complement of torpedos. The rats better get off that ship. Eraserhead will go down with the ship barking commands that no one is listening to.

It’s how we all knew which “anonymous” SEC coach had this to say about Gus last year:
quote:

Auburn is paying Gus Malzahn $50 million ($49 million over seven years) and he underachieved again,” an anonymous SEC coach told Lindy’s. “If Nick Saban had Auburn's talent, he'd have won national championships the last two years. Auburn had the best front seven in college ball last year, but the offense sometimes disappears. If Gus would leave (offensive coordinator) Chip Lindsey alone, Auburn would be more explosive. Instead, they lost to Central Florida (in the Sugar Bowl) and got the crap kicked out of them by Georgia in the SEC Championship Game, after beating Georgia a few weeks before. And they give him a new contract? For what? Mediocrity?"
