I get it’s fun to troll Lane, but Sankey has exposed himself as completely incompetent through this mess.

Sankey should have been gone once the B10 commish whipped his arse in the TV rights negotiations. He has shown he doesn’t have an edge time and time again.

True but Sankey is costing the SEC a lot of $ he is such a loser! Between media contracts and this bull chit he has proven to be a failure. He is a huge reason the big 10 has passed up the SEC.

I don’t think he ever claimed he would do anything else. I was and am convinced that he simply made the point of how utterly ridiculous college athletics has become while simultaneously furthering his GOAT status as the greatest heel in the history of the game. He’s never struck me as anything other than a complete douchebag who could not care less what anyone thinks of him or how much damage he causes as long as he is the center of attention.
