incorrect, more like UNC is the shark and Duke is the remora feeding off the host. I have a strong feeling older UNC fans who grew up with the NCST vs UNC rivalry would love to jettison Duke and they are the folks writing the big checks.

If there's anything thus far that conference realignment has proven, it's that the stuff most people believe is not correct. Almost every move has been surprising.
Maryland and Nebraska in the Big Ten? Rutgers?
Missouri in the SEC and not the Big Ten?
Texas A&M being able to split from the other Texas schools?
Utah in the Pac 12?
Texas teams flirting with the Pac 10?
The only real major move that has been expected from the beginning was Colorado, which was rumored for years.
The one thing that's been proven more than anything is that TV money drives all the deals, with academic legitimacy being a distant second. I don't see two teams from the same state, I don't care how prestigious the schools are.

Yes....The SEC should kick out a school that they recently added while in the process of announcing NEW TV contract with the help of that certain school. You're a smart one.

Would suck.
SEC should go back to the original 12 schools. We messed up a good thing for the all mighty dollar.

Correctly predicted Terps, Rutgers, and Nebraska to the B1G before 2010
Correctly predicted TAMU in the SEC but took 2 decades longer than projected
Correctly predicted The B12 and PAC flirtation
Correctly corrected Utah to the PAC but happened sooner than later
Missed on Mizzourah to the B1G
Why could I not have been perfect *sigh*

A large percentage of your 1900 posts are talking shite about Mizzou.
If we didn't come you'd have even less to talk about than you already do. Not enough women's basketball for you to have the post count you do if we weren't here.
You're welcome.

I bet the number is well below what you imagine. Glad to see I am occupying that much space in your head. Now get your fans to travel and I will ease up. Look. I will support even the worst SEC schools because their fans are fully engaged. Many Mizzou folks talk a big game but so far they are not walking the walk.
FWIW, I have also been positive and complimentary of Mizzou when they warrant it.

Where are people getting this from?
What is your connection to either school?
Are you just basing this off the basketball rivalry and nothing else?
Most people on this board have no clue of ACC culture.

Searchable (since about March 14th) threads written by Cheese Grits:
"Missouri" in the title or body: 9
"Mizzou" in the title or body: 21
"Kentucky" in the title or body: 24
and for good measure:
"the" in the title or body: 120-ish.
Which means, Mizzou or Missouri is mentioned in more of your posts than Kentucky (including womens basketball threads.)
The time it took to do those searches constitutes the entirety of the time you've spent in my head. As I said earlier, you're welcome for your post count.
That is all.

People here really need to get over the Big 12 hate. That conference isnt going anywhere anytime soon.
Fox is going to make sure of that.

a) Just you post counting is more than I would do for you.
b) The time of your searches corresponds to MU's terrible showing of fans in Rupp (seriously the best you could do was send 100 fans for a venue that seats 24,000?
A Mizzou poster put up a thread on the Rant for SEC fans to show up in Rupp for Mizzou. I stupidly did so only to be shocked at how few Mizzou fans attended the game. I made the effort when even your fans did not.
I am guessing if I read the posts you referenced most would be for your crappy fan attendance and it not being SEC like for a school that wants to embrace and be embraced by other SEC schools. Lord, the Hogs and Tigers are dumpster fires right now but their fans still turn up for games.

You shut your whore mouth. Anything bad you said about the great state of OKLAHOMA can be applied to Texas x100000000.

ZERO new TV markets that are worth a shite. Furthermore, their mouths are firmly attached to Bevo's nutless sack.
I guess OKC and Tulsa are just a couple of one horse country towns then?

So they are stuck. And it couldn't happen to a better pile of land stealing, recruit stealing son-of-a-bitches. I hope their program rots in the Big 12.

This would be better......
Flagships:
Alabama
Ole Miss
Georgia
Florida
Tennessee
Kentucky
LSU
Wish they were flagships or SEC Charter Members:
Vandy
State
Auburn
Texas A&M
Arkansas
Mizzou
South Carolina
Screw further expansion. Get rid of the non charter members. Be a 10 team league again.

And, weirdly, this one. I can't imagine why a 'Bama fan would want to add the Sooners. Great (or at least usually very good) football, but that's it as far as I can see. As for the DFW TV market, the SEC already has that. (You're welcome.) And replacing Mizzou with OU makes absolutely no sense. Yeah, Mizzou sucked at a lot of stuff this past season, but they'll be back (kinda like 'Bama was after the Shula/Fran suckage). And I'll pull out the academic hammer on this though I really hate that subject: Mizzou is a much better school than OU in almost any major.
But I admit my bias against OU is mostly about taking TX players - I watched it all my life. We could fill up a few pages talking about all the OU greats from Texas. Hell, I'd rather they went to Texas than OU. Anything bad for OU is a positive for me. Plus, I get that A&M isn't exactly "southeast", but Oklahoma? Might as well pull Oregon in.
