Proof that Bama gets bias no other team gets is 2011 and 2017.NCs, but div runner-up.

No other team can even make the claim that they got the opportunity to play for a NC without winning their division, but Bama gets to claim "undisputed" NC without even winning their division.
They didn't even tie for the division lead. Just straight came in second place.
To answer Bama fans' query about how 2011 Bama is any different than 2021 UGA, here it is: Bama lost the division in 2011, but somehow, the team that beat them on their home field had to play in an extra game against a top ten opponent just to earn the right to play a Bama team they already beat for the NC while Bama sat at home.
UGA still had to play the same amount of games as Bama in 2021, and earn the right to play Bama for the NC.
Bama sat at home while LSU had to play an extra game to earn the right to play Bama. Final records for 2011: LSU - 13-1, Bama 12-1.
Should have played a rubber match in Tiger Stadium, even if it was just an exhibition. The CFB world deserved that game.

Bigger issue is OK State missing that chip shot fg against Iowa State. LSU rolls the shite out of Oklahoma State in New Orleans in 2011.

I do think that Oklahoma State should have been selected to the 2012 title game. I’m not sure what you’re complaining about with 2017.

Not a Bama fan, but they absolutely deserved their spot both years. Divisions aren't equal, and frankly, they should be eliminated.
In the 2011 game in Tuscaloosa they outgained and outplayed LSU and should've won by double digits if their kicker didn't suck and their Tight End could hang on to the ball near the goal line. Who should've played LSU in the natty? Oklahoma State? The same team that lost to a 6-6 Iowa State team? The equivalent would've been Bama losing to 6-6 Vandy.
In 2017, Bama was hurt by the fact that they were in the same division as Auburn and the head-to-head hurt them. UGA, who lost by more to Auburn than Bama did, lucked out in that the head-to-head matchup was meaningless given how pathetic the SEC East was (and is). Had they been in the SEC West, they never would've sniffed the SECCG since Auburn would've had the tie-breaker.
At the end of the day, Bama proved they were the best team both years since they won the title. Generally speaking, the CFP committee/BCS computers are more right than wrong, and they were vindicated in 2011 and 2017. The CFP committee was also proven right in 2014, when nearly everyone thought OSU didn't deserve to be in and yet they won the whole thing. The Danny Kanell's of the world said that UGA didn't deserve to be in the CFP last year because they didn't win their conference, yet they won the whole thing. The committee was right once again.

Neither of those teams sat at home while their future opponents who won the same Division and Conference had to play an extra game just to earn the right to play the division loser for a NC.
Penn State wasn't playing for the right to face Ohio State in the Playoffs and Colorado wasn't playing for the right to play Nebraska for the NC.
OSU was ranked ahead with the better record, and Penn State had no shot at the CFP. Colorado had an outside chance to face Miami.
Bama sat at home with the knowledge that they were in, and waited to see who earned the right to play them.
And 2011 was more fricked up bc LSU had already beat them.
