That is all.

He holds on to the ball too long and doesn't do a good job of taking what the defense gives him. He relies too much on the home run. Extremely athletic and throws a good deep ball though.

This offense is trying to create explosive plays. It's not Jalen's fault that Ryan Williams is left open way down the field. We move the ball on the ground and Haynes or Jam Miller break off the next 40 yards to the house. Such is the BAMA offensive ID this year. Jalen accounted for 5 TDs through the air and with his feet vs a top-30 power 4 defense in Wisconsin. That's 14 TDs for Milroe for the young season if you're counting.
What else are we seeing in the SEC vs good competition? A ton of spread QBs dinking and dunking down the field. Throwing horizontally as much as verticle until they get to the 20-yard line. And when they hit the money zone, they stall out and kick field goals.

great college qb if he is utilized for his skills. also, must have an outstanding defense using a qb like him.

It’s scheme.
The defenses are spying the QB.
If you bring a safety or hybrid LB/S in to spy him it means you don’t have a S deep over the top.
So Milroe RPOs, the defense crashes and all the sudden someone is open over deep.
As you’d expect quality opponents like UGA can take some of that away with their own elite athletes, but if the OL stays healthy Bama will have a top 5-10 efficiency offense just like they did the 2H of last season.
From the Tennesee game on Milroe was 2nd nationally in QBR only to Jayden Daniels last year.
As long as the offense stays within his comfort zone, he remembers to climb the pocket rather than retreat and run decisively he’s an extremely effective college QB.

Totally agree. But what I don't like is that feast or famine can be difficult to watch.
I much prefer to steadily pound the defense like we did when AJ/Amari/Yeldon-Lacy was there.
What Mac/Devonta/Najee did was the best example but you only get talent on the field like that once in a lifetime.

So what you're saying is, you're not gay but if you were, Milroe would be the first to know

He's going homerun on every pass play because can't read the defense and react quick enough. Even the deep ball is often thrown too late.

Guy is a great north south runner and can fly once he gets an opening. However, he lacks the elusiveness and shiftiness of a Lamar Jackson, Mike Vick type to make him really dangerous. I’ve been surprised how easily he is tackled in the open field or scrambling in the pocket.

His average pass per attempt was 11.5 yards against Wisky.
A good QB takes advantage of the other teams mistake. If they leave our WRs open down the field, throw the ball!

Which is why what the new staff has done with him has been so good. The designed runs are entirely based around his natural run skill - counters or powers where he just has to find a small crease, stick his foot in the ground and go.
As you noted, he is not a good scrambler - mainly because he waits way too long to do it.
