Aside from you Tigards rushing the field multiple times of course. We did not in our last win against you.

They do that on this board on a daily basis, without prompting.

In state rivals are little brothers like what Auburn is to bama and the Aggies to Texas. Out of state rivalries tend to be border states that have much more equal programs. Thats what Tennessee is to Bama

Compare how Auburn has performed against Bama to how Tennessee has performed against Bama for a period longer than 5 years and you’ll see that in all of our lifetimes Auburn has been by far the bigger test to Bama of the two.

This is just plain hillbilly ignorance.

Auburn is on a 6 year losing streak to bama with no end in site. In contrast to this Tennessee hasnt lost to bama at home since 2020.

From 1995 to 2005 Bama beat Tennessee one time. That included a 7 game win streak for Tennessee against Bama, the longest win streak against Bama of any program ever. Idk how old you are but unless you only lived from 2010 to 2020, I guess that was the only time Auburn has been more competitive with Bama than Tennessee.

Tennessee has the most wins against Bama of any collegiate program in football. Bama basketball has beaten tennessee 1 time in the last 6 meetings. Bama baseball has won one series against Tennessee since 2016.

There is a reason every Bama natty coach has each said Tennessee is the big game. We own Bamas greatest basketball coach, that has routinely killed auburn. Auburn dreams of beating bama, but the numbers show Tennessee actually does. Thats why their coaches hate us but they own yall

The Bama posters on this board focus on LSU twice as much as they do Auburn and Tennessee, combined.

South Carolina's only conference rival is UGA and UGA doesn't give a damn about them.

Yes our program is on a 6-year skid. Your program is on a multiple decades long skid.

Wins against Alabama…

Last 10 years
Auburn 2; Tennessee 2
Avg Margin: AU -9; TN -20

Last 20 years
Auburn 6; Tennessee 2
Avg Margin: AU -11; TN -19

Last 30 years
Auburn 12; Tennessee 11
Avg Margin: AU -8; TN -11

Last 40 years
Auburn 18; Tennessee 12
Avg Margin: AU -6; TN -10

Last 50 years
Auburn 20; Tennessee 16
Avg Margin: AU -7; TN -9

Last 60 years
Auburn 23; Tennessee 20
Avg Margin: AU -8; TN -8

Last 70 years
Auburn 27; Tennessee 24
Avg Margin: AU -7; TN -8

But please show us the evidence that Tennessee has historically been more competitive against Bama. You won’t find it.

Football
Coach with the most wins against Bama: Neyland
Coach with the longest win streak against Bama: Fulmer
Program with the most wins against Bama: Tennessee
Program with the most wins against Wallace Wade: Tennessee
Program with the most wins against Frank Thomas: Tennessee
Program with the most wins against Bear Bryant: Tennessee
Program with the most wins against Gene Stallins: Tennessee
Program with the most wins against Nick Saban: Auburn

Basketball
Program with the higher winning percentage against Bama: Tennessee
Program with the longer win streak against Bama: Tennessee
Coach with the most wins against Nate Oats: Rick Barnes

Bear Bryant: "You find out what kind of team you have when you play Tennessee"
Gene Stallings: "You don’t have to tell an Alabama player how important the Tennessee game is. If you do, he’s at the wrong school."
Nick Saban: "To our players, this was the biggest rivalry game"

I guess you know more than the players and the coaches. Tennessee and Bama is a rivalry of over a hundred years, with more Hall of Fame players and coaches on the sidelines than the Iron Bowl. We have been more successful against Bama than Auburn in every major sport.

quote:

History says otherwise hillbilly.

History says that Tennessee has more wins against Bama and better performance across football and basketball. The funny thing is, so do the last five years. Auburn has never had the win streaks or total wins that Tennessee does. It sucks for yall because all of Auburn's self-worth is tied to being Bama's "main rival."

Y'all's best coaches don't even have winning records against Bama. Neither Shug Jordan, Bruce Pearl, nor Pat Dye had winning records against them. However, Neyland, Fulmer, Dickey, Barnes, and Vitello all routinely killed them.

Where do we find these idiots on tRant??

We all said the same thing about you after you made that retarded post about Steven Pearl being successful. Go back into hiding idiot. Better yet, go get swept again by Bama in football, basketball, baseball, and softball. Couldn't be us who is already .625 on the year against Bama as opposed to Auburn who is .000

Nice movement of the goalposts there. What took you an hour to type up could simply be summarized with one stat:

All time win% against Alabama:

Auburn- 41.7%
Tennessee- 40.7%

You’re literal quote:

quote:

Idk how old you are but unless you only lived from 2010 to 2020, I guess that was the only time Auburn has been more competitive with Bama than Tennessee.

Reality check: Auburn has been more competitive against Bama ALL TIME.

Sorry you don’t like facts.

Oh and while we’re at it, Auburn leads the all-time series against Tennessee 29-22-3.

LOL.

Auburns win percentage against Bama is hyper inflated because they never played Wallace Wade or Frank Thomas. They got to miss one of Bama statistically most dominant periods.

Your only facts is that auburn has a higher winning percentage in one sport lol. Compared to every other metric which discredits your post haha. Either way you read the quotes from the coaches. It’s obvious

Go make another post about Steven Pearl retard

Buddy Auburn has a better win% against Bama than Tennessee does since the day Bear Bryant set foot on campus… covering all the Bryant and Saban years and everything in between… Wade and Thomas might be good coaches but not nearly as great as Bryant and Saban.

Well yes since that was the topic at hand. You got me for staying on the actual topic! Have fun going down whatever time-consuming roads you desire to somehow prove a worse winning percentage against Bama and against Auburn is somehow better. LOL.

Never said they were but Auburn skipped 50 years of playing Bamas 3rd and 4th best hall of fame head coaches and you think that cant be discredited. Yalls win percentage would be significantly lower given that yall won a single conference title in that 50 years drought while Bama won 8. Either way go read the rest of the thread. Its obvious how the fans, players, and coaches feel

And they skipped out on most of the Donahue era when Auburn was easily a Top 2-3 program in the South between 1908-1922. It goes both ways.

What the literal F are you talking about??

Auburn won SIAA titles in 1908, 1910, 1913, 1914, and 1919 and won a SoCon title in 1932. That’s six.

You have no clue what you are talking about.

As far as UGA/GT, that’s very age dependent. Younger folks tend to discount GT, and some even call for dropping the annual game. Those of us who have been around for while understand that the North Avenue Trade School must be defeated or else the smell from all of the GT gear coming out of mothballs will overwhelm us all.

As for Oklahoma State, we didn’t beat OU and TX enough to make it a true rivalry, but it just doesn’t seem right to not have them on the schedule each year. I really don’t know who our “rival” is now.

So Bama missed 14 years of Auburn being good and Auburn missed almost 30 years of Bama being a top tier program. Not exactly the same.

Forgot that was even a thing. That gives me an idea for my next thread topic
