I don’t know of a single school in Ole Miss’s position that hasn’t filed suit to collect unpaid contractual buyouts. And I suspect if the roles were reversed every dumbass LSU fan would be howling to curbstomp any player who left and thumbed his nose at LSU’s claim for repayment.
In any of those other instances, was the player in question following the coach he initially signed to play for to his new school?

Should get an Oxford judge with 50 yard line seats to issue a TRO.

What the heck did Pete do all offseason?
Our starter got hurt right before Louisville who was hoping to return last week but is now set to return this week. I will say it's got to be nice to be LSU and have your DBs homegrown. Well, at least, DJ and PJ. I don't know the rest off the top of my head.

I bet you would sue Walmart if you "slipped" and fell, lol. You are one of those dudes who causes a fender bender at low speed and gets out of the car being overdramatic and wanting an ambulance to take you to the hospital so you can hopefully sue, lol. I bet you have a shady injury lawyer on speed dial. Your bloodline is the reason we have warning labels on ketchup bottles, lol. If you could get away with it I bet you would sue your parents for choosing to bring you into this world, lol. You are the type of person who would marry someone with terminal cancer just to try and get their money.

LSU doesn't do well paying its debts. Never have. I'm sure they are giving the guy "good counseling".

How much money did OM give him and how much are they asking for in the lawsuit?

Both are very good in pass defense. Both are also extremely shitty in rush defense. LSU will soon find out.

Yeah, our Heisman candidate RB got hurt early game 1 and we didn't want to risk him against Charlotte...but let's not look at the facts

Clemson's whole gameplan was designed to run at Princewill.
If today is opposite day, then this statement makes sense.
If its not, you should watch the video again.

They ran at him twice in that entire video, and one resulted in a TFL.

The timing? Absolutely. Pretty wild of Ole Miss…
The “papers” (assuming some sort of notice of breach of contract) in general? Nah. These players want all the benefits of a contact/payments without the commitment. If there’s a buyout or damages he is owing Ole Miss or its NIL collective, he should have paid it or reached mutual agreement that he was unable to fulfill the remainder of the terms.
These kids clearly do not understand these contracts or the consequences of breaking them which is a broader issue of this landscape in general.

It's interesting to finally see the villains rear their ugly heads. Coach Golding did a great job presenting the university as an upstanding institution this week and encouraged the fans to act accordingly. Much respect.
Clearly the Leadership is both petty and poorly calculated. Serving this week wasn't necessary, and it only added unnecessary emotion and distraction. It's a shame that the OM Leadership undermined it's head coach's well thought and properly communicated position.

Its way closer to reality than what you stated about their gameplan.
