I’m not a UK fan, so hopefully I can be objective- they will likely have one of the best, if not the best O-lines in the conference. That gives them a chance to win any game they are in. They will absolutely upset at least 1 of UGA, UF or AU

Was mentioned in the PFF thread, UK has 4 of the 9 SEC linemen mentioned.

The thought that UK won't contend next year is pretty absurd, but I guess that goes with the territory. The last 2 years were 2 very good seasons, and this one shapes up to be better.

I used to think some of these ranters were smarter than they are, but they refuse to acknowledge what is happening in Lexington.

Carolina almost shut Kentucky out last year.

Maybe you should stop posting. :)

Vandy with two wins? That’s highly generous.

Considering our QB needed shoulder surgery at the time you should be ashamed that we did score.

Wow. 1-0. That’s huge.

We better just not show up that day.
South Carolina fans are something else. Stoops has owned yall, you get one win last year v a backup who lied about having 3 injuries and we did not have another option at that point so we had to stick with him, and you think you get to talk down to us. We will be rolling Carolina this year.

Not because of your defense. Go back, rewatch, and do some research.

We won 10 games with Terry starting. We looked even better starting out last year until he got injured. Then we had the Sawyer Smith injury debacle v State and Carolina.

We ended up winning 8 games with our 5th string QB option last season and broke several SEC rushing records doing it.

Some people either just arent paying attention or refuse to. We return over 70% of our roster, including all the linemen.

UK WILL be competing for the East title and some of yall are going to get a rude awakening when we say we told you so this fall.

Everyone is bigtiming Kentucky here, which is what some UK fans do to up and coming teams in basketball, so some if it is warranted. But they will have enough talent to beat any team on their schedule this season, it's just a matter of can they get over the hump psychologically, and what is Stoops going to do in tight games. IMO, his coaching lost y'all the Florida game last year, so is he going to tighten up in tight games or will he improve in that area.

Games that could go either way.

@ Florida
South Carolina
@Auburn
@Missouri
@Tennessee
Mississippi St
Georgia
@Louisville

That's a bunch of toss up games. They could win any of them but I see 2-3 losses, which is a pretty good season.

Terry Wilson is the most overhyped QB since Morgan Newton from our fanbase.

There are some people that just look at the record and ignore the supporting cast. This is like baseball fans hyping up a 20 win starter with an ERA of 5 or so.

8-4 sounds right if Wilson can make a slight improvement.

Competing for a division? He better make a massive improvement.

If Terry Wilson can come back healthy, we will provide a challenge to Georgia for the east title.

Is he a pitcher or does he play outfield?

I look at Florida 2018 in the swamp as the high point for Terry. Made some massive plays with his feet and dropped some long ball dimes for a TD. Same game he also had 1 incredibly stupid interception in the redzone and I believe a fumble.

Low point of the season was that Texas A&M game where the coaches for some reason put it on him and not the running game and he looked completely lost.

The way I see it he's only gotta be good enough to be a threat to complete a pass

I thought he was making good progress last year but he also got injured before we played anyone so

They’re not beating SC. SC handled them very well last year. Fourth or fifth place tops.

The last 3 times South Carolina came to Lexington, they left with a loss. I don’t see that changing this year.

Thank you for being reasonable.

The Florida game is what my big prognostications of glory hinge upon. Week 2. If we beat y'all, then we can win the East. UGA picks up Bama this year in the West.

Im predicting us to go 10-2. A lot can happen and change. I had us 9-3 last season, and we emded up 8-4 with the QB deal.

Win or los, UK is going to be good this season. Anyone who thinks otherwise simply isnt paying attention. If we can take y'all down week 2 then things really open up for us. Itll be a big game for Florida too.

If I had to predict the East today I'd say final records go
Georgia 11-1
Florida 10-2
Tennessee 8-4
Kentucky 8-4
South Carolina 6-6
Mizzou 5-7
Vanderbilt 2-10

I think this is the most likely outcome. That said, I also think 9-3 is more likely than 7-5.

So basically their entire schedule of games could go either way.
