The quote below from a UK fan in another thread has perked my interest. They obviously feel pretty confident heading into 2020. Where do you see them finishing?
Average talent ranking for this years UK team according to Athlon is 5th in the East & 29th Nationally. UGA is 2nd, UF 9th, UT 15th, & Carolina 20th (all nationally)
Eastern Michigan - W
@ Florida - L
Kent State - W
South Carolina - W
@Auburn - L
Eastern Illinois - W
Vanderbilt - W
@Missouri - W
@Tennessee - L
Mississippi St - W
Georgia - L
@Louisville - W
8-4 (4-4), 4th in the East.

Some of their fans are something else.
I remember a caller to Finebaum going into meltdown because some "expert" said they would lose 5 games in 2019.

I mean, we got 10 wins with him in his first year starting. We return a Top 25 defense and most of a team that managed 8-wins with no QB. And have more SEC quality depth then we’ve ever had.
Really don’t see how it’s much different than anyone else’s off-season championship claim when we actually have a coach that develops players.

You don’t think Kentucky would’ve done better than 5 losses if Wilson didn’t go down against EMU?

What's your season prediction?
Your best team in decades (With Wilson) still lost by 17 to UGA and lost by 21 to UT, however you did beat UF that year.

They’re not beating SC. SC handled them very well last year. Fourth or fifth place tops.

I’m not big on season predictions, especially if we don’t know how Wilson will play post-injury. And we don’t know if Gatewood will get a waiver.
I do think we really are a solid QB from competing though. 10 wins should be do able again the experience that’s returning and everyone stays healthy.

Wow. 1-0. That’s huge.
We better just not show up that day.

Me, and I stand behind my post. We have a ton of talent returning, the only question mark is if Terry Wilson can come back healthy and not have taken a step back.
I mean, with him last year, we likely only lose one or two games. I don't see this as much of a stretch at all, which is why I said it.
That is a big IF though, so only time will tell.

All Terry needed was to be 13/20 for 130 yards to beat USC. When are you yahoos going to understand that Stoops is all about ball control...winning in the trenches and running the ball down teams throats.

LOL with a QB that had a broken wrist and a shoulder hanging on by a thread. Go back and watch that game. Y'all still have muschamp as well, who stoops has absolutely owned. Don't be silly.

Benny Snell isn’t suiting up for you next year. If world beater Lynn Bowden couldn’t beat them this year Wilson isn’t next year.

They'll go 8-4.
If I had to predict the East today I'd say final records go
Georgia 11-1
Florida 10-2
Tennessee 8-4
Kentucky 8-4
South Carolina 6-6
Mizzou 5-7
Vanderbilt 2-10

We won 4 games last year and Kentucky is one of them lulz
Besides, you’re going to have to be a lot better than South Carolina to “challenge for the East”

People are so focused on the helmet, and not the players. I’m not a UK fan, so hopefully I can be objective- they will likely have one of the best, if not the best O-lines in the conference. That gives them a chance to win any game they are in. They will absolutely upset at least 1 of UGA, UF or AU
