Whenever he is fired it won't be soon enough. Even his die hard supporters who still believed in him after last years abysmal season have bailed. He has almost zero support among the fanbase.

I would also point out that Lane would absolutely jump to A&M. He’s done all he can at Ole Miss.
A&M is more relevant nationally even when we suck.
Lane would not be on my top 3 list, but he would be somewhere between 5-7.

I just don't see it. 77 million plus God only knows how much for his assistants. Then you have to have another chunk to get a good coach....and those are rare.
