You can never tell with Auburn. I think they lose to Georgia and Bama this year but we know Auburn and Gus have a couple of games each year where Gus just gets as stubborn as a mule and keeps trying to do something that isn't working. Will that cost them another game or two?

This feels like a 9-3 type of year down on the plains.

This one is easy, Auburn isn't a great team away from JHS and they play 4 top ten caliber teams this year away from JHS.

top ten caliber

LOL. I don't get the hype. They brought back a lot of players from a team that got curb stomped by Auburn last year. New OC. New DC. Mullen was a QB whisperer and had an offense tailor made for Fitzpatrick. They will battle LSU for 3rd in the West. Which is respectable for Miss State standards.

Washington

Will be much more like a home game given 1) it will probably be a 75% - 25% split and 2) three straight games there will make it feel like home.

Georgia
Bama

Not losing both this year. My money is on us beating UGA, although I hope it is Bama. Can't realistically win the West without beating them.

Count me in the group though that thinks we could slip up against A&M at home. Something weird about that series. I have Auburn going 10-2 this season with losses to A&M and Bama.

9-4 with a Bowl loss....But hey..4 losses is what they pay that 49 million for.

And Auburn has a losing record to Saban at Alabama.

And Auburn’s lack of success away from JHS is well documented.

Auburn lost 2 games in both Death Valley's by a grand total of 10 pts. Maybe if Bama played in true home/home games they would lose a few too...

Yeah, the only difference in Auburn being 83-48 and Alabama being 125-14 the last decade is because of Home-and-Home series.

I think it all depends on the Washington game for this too happen. I would like to see Auburn lose at GA and win at Bama.

Resulting in last years circumstances GA and Bama play for SEC Championship, but Auburn ends up in top 4 and plays for the National Title.

Another year where we go into November with a legit shot at the playoffs, only to have our rivals snatch it away.
