He kills the tree my Grandfather, Dad, and Uncle proposed to my Grandmother, Mom, and Aunt under, and he will be a dead man.

What about the grass? That shiz is sacred too right?

Misinformation attempt #78 for the week of Sept. 8-14.

Not that you're looking for a serious answer, but we do not have sacred grass. The grass surrounding one building on campus (TAMU is the largest campus in the nation, in terms of buildings & square footage; so one building is a just a drop in a very large campus bucket)--the Memorial Student Center--is considered a living memorial:
quote:

The grass that surrounds the MSC is considered one of its most important legacies. It is a living memorial dedicated to all Aggies, past or future, who have given or will give their lives in wartime. In order to respect the 955 Aggie soldiers killed in the line of duty, Texas A&M tradition prohibits all Aggies from stepping on the grass that surrounds the building.

I know plenty of aggies and have worked them over many years. Let me just say this, G-d help you if you frick with, in any way, the Century tree. They will NOT leave it up to the authorities.
The Texas Rangers were and still are known for always getting their man, but not necessarily bringing them to court.
Make light if you want to bammers, but at your own peril.

On a side note, Brian Downing will be eligible for parole very shortly. Went to Jail last November 29th, and is eligible after 10 months.

So is it just Aggies that prevent non-Aggies from doing it?

Just let all the Ag store employees know to be on the lookout for sales of Spike 80DF to anyone wearing an elephant hat and sweet jacket.
