What happens after Nick Saban loses a game? It doesn't end well for the next opponent.

quote:

The last time Alabama lost 2 consecutive games was 2013, when they lost the Iron Bowl and then a bowl game to Oklahoma. Saban hasn’t lost 2 consecutive regular-season games since his inaugural season in 2007. The Tide had a 2-game losing streak and 4-game losing streak that season.

Here’s how he has followed losses since then.

2019: L LSU, W MSU 38-7
2019: L Auburn, W Michigan 35-16
2017: L Auburn, W Clemson 24-6
2015: L Ole Miss, W UL-Monroe 34-0
2014: L Ole Miss, W Arkansas 14-13
2013: L Auburn, L Oklahoma (bowl game)
2012: L Texas A&M, W Western Carolina 49-0
2011: L LSU, W Miss. State 24-7
2010: L South Carolina, W Ole Miss 23-10
2010: L LSU, W Miss. State 30-10
2010: L Auburn, W Michigan State 49-7
2008: L Florida, L Utah (bowl game)

Nick isn't the same we all can see it... Not taking away from what's hes done. Also BOB and this teams mental mistakes this year is different.

Who cares? This was supposed to be a rebuilding year. We're playing with house money right now.

Congrats, you usually beat your next P5 opponent by a relatively normal score sans Mississippi State.

I made a wager on Bama.

What are the odds Nick Saban loses 3 out of 4 games?

I'm seeing a bunch of bowl/playoff games after Iron Bowl losses, when they have a month off to prepare. I'm seeing rent a wins vs ULM and Western Carolina, then Miss St teams after LSU losses, a 4-8 Ole Miss team and a 7-6 Arkansas team (by 1 point).

This will be by far the best non-bowl opponent on that list and it's on the road. The closest comparison is 2010 Miss St which was at home and honestly I'd take that Bama team over this year's.

I see OleMiss pulling off the upset here.

Alabama hasn't lost 2 in the regular season in how long? It could have easily been 3, and I think we see that this weekend.

Not guaranteed. Ole Miss can beat them.
