Smith will have a great year for sure. I would think he is the primary receiver for bama as chase will be our primary as well.

LSU definitely had the best WR corps last season, but those Alabama WRs were no joke.

They weren't, but their YAC numbers were off the charts last year, IIRC. Their WRs just abused Penn State's secondary.

So LSU is responsible for 3 of those, maybe 4.

Two for our team, Duvernay, and Smith depending upon whether or not Stingley ever actually touched him.

jets was one of the best after the catch that i've ever seen. he was simply lethal. amazing route runner and incredible moves. he doesn't get the total yards as others because he often caught in traffic across the middle whereas chase was outside more and ran deep routes more often. chase also breaks a LOT of tackles

I'm assuming that stat is largely garbage as getting barely touched and going for 80 greatly skews it but being #1 by 50 yards is pretty impressive regardless.
