This must be painful to behold for Mr. Dodds:

I actually feel guilty about this.

Here, MU took the Big12 Basketball tourney, Big12 Baseball tourney, swept Texas in bball and beat them in football, and left for a better conference, where MU will be paid more money.

I think MU should have to pay for the piece of property inside Deloss Dodds dome, that they take up. Living inside anothers dome, should not be free.

That article was released right after the infamous 2010 season. (check the date)

The university of texas wants a tuition hike, but sits on 2/3 of the PUF. There is no reason AT ALL for that university to EVER need a tuition hike. In fact, it should be FREE. The 2/3 revenues from the PUF cover well more than net operating costs. That's the real issue.

Irony = Having a username implying being a fan of an entire conference...one in which your chosen school has almost singlehandedly rendered mediocre in almost all sports.

This should be turned into a cable TV show. It's better drama than anything out there except for Mad Men.

Texas is losing it's mojo over MO!

Poor Mizzou, everyone picking on them nowadays.

Its funny Plonsky calls entitlement the "E-word." That is when you know you have a problem.

Perry wants to use the PUF for more things though as does A&M. Texas wants to keep the PUF money limited on what it can be spent on. That doc is for the Orange and Maroon Day which is essentially when Aggies and sips link hands and go to the Leg to push for the issues we BOTH agree on. My Dad has been involved with it for many, many years. How PUF money is spent is not an issue we agree on.

The PUF is exploding right now because of increased production and we are mining more rare earth minerals out of the land than ever. At the same time the price of all of those commodities is only going up.

That's one of the reasons we fired Byrne. Oh, I know, he officially "retired"...but when he called and left angry voicemails on a critic's answering machine threatining to fight him and had the quote about "we're not ready to compete in conferences like the SEC"...as well as his constant self-promotion (Bill Byrne's Wednesday Weekly), his days were numbered.

It's just sounded to me like "I'm not going to validate our haters with a response. We're happy where we are! But... (a long angry response)"

Guess what, you just validated them. Terrible PR move

I like how Jeff Long keeps his mouth shut unless he is being forced to speak. He rarely wastes words, that's what people at the top of the food chain are supposed to do

UT = hypocrites

I like this about your AD too. I thought the way he handled the BP situation was extremely professional and well done. Our AD doesn't talk a lot either. When he does, he's extremely careful about what he says.

This fool just continues to validate our decision to get out of that dumpster fire conference.
