Bama penny,
You may be right. But I appreciate the fact that dish ponied up and accepted the fee ESPN is charging. Unless your into NFL and all the channels direct offers, that dish does not,(which I'm not into), why not support those who support you.

IMHO, direct or comcast will not switch until the very end and i do not want to miss a minute of SEC football.

No offense, but Dish "ponied up" because they knew people like you would freak out and switch to them 4-5 months before the network launch. It was a business decision to get new customers. The other providers will get the network before football season. They know it would be corporate suicide to be the only provider in the South without it

If by mid-July DirecTV has no indication that they are changing, then I'm going to Dish or U-verse.

Been a DirecTV customer for years & years.
They blow Dish outta the water.
DirecTV will carry the SECN.
I've zero doubt.

I've had UVerse for four or five years, and love it. I'm moving ten minutes down the road, and they don't have it, seriously bummed about it. Gonna go Dish because they've already got SECN lined up and the Hopper. I've had DTV twice before, never loved it, sucks compared to UVerse. I hate Cox.

DirecTV is far superior to dish.

I will not change whether they get SECN or not. Sunday Ticket is much more important to me.

Genie>Hopper and DirecTV's customer service is far superior to dish's imo.

Also, I much prefer DirecTV's interface and cannot imagine golf majors without DirecTV.

I have had UVERSE for 4 years, the only 2 times my tv has went out was when lightning killed ths modem twice, come to find out our ground was hooked up wrong, ATT still payed for the modem.

Pretty good service there.

I get the Big10 on my UVERSE 300, does anyone know what package the SEC NET we be offered under ? I am not planning to upgrade to UV400.

I'll take Sunday Ticket and the very likely chance that DTV will pickup the SECN.

Enjoy Dish, I guess.
