Would you not help a family in need ?
That family had the need to bury their wife and mother. That is a fact. If the dad was a meth head that’s sad and unfortunate. But the need didn’t change. Mother still had to be buried.
I was upset when it came out about the dad and thought about asking for my money back. But I didn’t. The facts came out and it was not a scam.
I hope your family has the money to bury you. But being the cheap sob that you are I see cremation in your future.

Nobody is disputing her death. From what I recall he was, in the very least, misleading the board and taking advantage of the Rant's generosity.
Hence the scam/con and subsequent ban by Chicken prohibiting posters from promoting GoFundMe accounts.

If you haven't accounted for your burial with life insurance or some other arrangement then you get what you get. Funerals don't have to be all that expensive. People should stop letting guilt leverage them into the funeral scam.
Maybe donate your body to science if you can't afford all the burial BS.
