Call me crazy but if I'm Franklin I'm staying at Penn State. No disrespect to LSU. The little 10 isn't the battlefield the SECW is

With sanctions looming, they are going to have to give someone a Jimbo like contract.

You have no idea what the hell you're talking about. Shut up.

I think you can make more in the short term at LSU but I think it would be easier to hang on for a long time at Penn State. Don't get me wrong, I loathe Pedo State, but if Franklin plays his cards right he can easily do just enough to hang on until he's ready to retire at PSU. That is a healthy amount of money for a job that probably won't be a walk through hell like the SEC.

Liberal State University is NOT hiring Kiffin.
James Franklin does check a necessary box.

At this point, I've forgotten what LSU is supposed to get sanctioned for.

There are five B1G teams in the current AP top 11 and just two from the SEC.

Can't see Kiffin leaving for LSU right now. Expectations are lower, our fans and AD love him, and we are paying him good money (Average of $5.4M per year through 2024). LSU is obviously a better historical job and he could go there in the future, but I don't see much advantage in going to LSU vs. staying at Ole Miss currently.

Lane could keep Ed as his defensive line coach. The Wild Boys could be back!!!

Yea. That’s a no brainer for him. He got a reminder about SEC officiating and shown he can compete for a NY6 bowl in the B1G with this Penn State team that was almost beat by Auburn at home.

No you haven't, let's be real.

Most overused statement ever
Good coaches don't want to coast with a mediocre record. A good program also understands that it takes time at most all places to build a consistent contender. These things don't have to be mutually exclusive.

are you high? LSU has resources that Ole Miss will never have. Kiffin is never winning a natty at Ole Miss. He probably would at LSU.

Kiff and Ed O have been close though.
How ironic would it be for Ed O to finish up Kiff's last year, after being left on the Tarmac... then Kiff hired to replace Ed O later at LSU.
LOL, wow

Kiffin won't leave for LSU. He will use it, though, to raise his salary at Ole Miss, till a FSU or Michigan type job comes open.
