Do we need a Go Fund Me for LSU ? Lost $55 million year before last and $26 million last year in their athletic programs and are begging the State to fund them .

Not sure where you are getting that incorrect info. LSU athletics actually netted $3.8 million in 2025 reports. The coaches salaries are fully funded by Tiger Athletic Foundation less small base salaries the school pays. donors have covered it all. BK wasn’t paid the $55 million up front. Most of the old staff that left had expired contracts and didn’t get any payments.

I can always tell who gets their news from Facebook.
The State of Louisiana has nothing to do with LSU athletic department and TAF funding. Furthermore, the athletic department receives no funds from the university itself. Actually, most years, the athletic department contributes to and pays the university and by extension “the state.”

The 21 years really isnt even the bad part. They've only won 1 title in the last 55 years. That's really all of relevant history for CFB. I dont know why we pretend Texas is some gods gift football powerhouse. They jus beat up on smaller Texas schools for their entire history. They couldnt even compete with Oklahoma when they created the Big 12 and were the only 2 major programs in that. Theyve really just been beating aggie for 100 years and beating their chests.
