Idk why people don’t want this. It’s gonna happen eventually. If not this conference, somewhere else. Make the SEC solidified as the dominant conference for decades to come in all sports

Can we not have a separate Texas and OU vote?

Duddley needs this for his tournaments.

The vote should be overwhelmingly in favor of them joining so as not to piss off the fans that give them money and rally around their teams and this league.
I voted yes.

Can you drill down the results to discount/eliminate the Aggie butthurt votes?

Some of ypu retreads here would rather the SEC to expand with NC State and Louisville or some other loser combination. Grow a pair and get ready for some fun games in the future.

I’m starting to lean on the side of yes because I feel like the super conferences are coming with or without the participation of the sec. this ensures our continued dominance.

Is Dhillup in charge of this election? Cause Dammit!

No. The playoffs expanding on top of adding Oklahoma and Texas to the regular season is going to make it even harder to win a natty.

Florida hasn't won tbe league in 13 years and has never made the playoffs, why would you want to make it harder on purpose?

frick Texas. I don’t want those simps in our conference.

I'm okay with it. I welcome the competition. And this pushes things to at least a 9 game conference schedule. That's one more SEC game and one less bullshite opponent like Citadel.
It's also been funny as shite seeing texags go berserk over it. However, after this, no more expansion. 16 teams is plenty enough.

Why am I not surprised a UGA fan wants to exclude the BCS?

How strong the conference is would be recognized, as it has been, FFS we had an all SEC Natty before the playoffs. If we add OU and TX, I wouldn’t be surprised to see 4-5 of the 12 playoff teams be from the SEC, in a 12 playoff system. And no one could make a substantive argument against it.

No. OU probably good with. Texas, no. I foresee way too many problems with them. Money and influence are great, but they can also make a HUGE mess of things.
I can agree with this. Texas is overly arrogant and has pushed their weight around in their previous conferences. With the majority of the SEC having been in place for a long time, and having six of the original schools winning football national championships and some excelling in basketball, baseball and track and field, there’s a much more balanced feel to the SEC and I think most fans of the SEC recognize that. Not so much in the Big 12 which has been mostly dominated by 2 schools.

Or don't expand at all.

Hey Chicken, great poll question. But with the results could you also breakdown what schools the votes came from???
Love to see the A&M and Mizzou responses and how many of the total votes come from those schools.
You'd be lucky if 50% of the people on this board are sporting accurate flair.
