It makes me ill to think LSU will soon have UTexass in the same conference. But it will be funny to see them go 4-5 at best in the SEC in fball.

So it's only taken a couple of days for our SEC brethren to see what total douchebags tejas is. And, the land thieves aren't far behind. I even heard one of their fans say they (tejas and OU) should get 1 1/2 shares to join.
What total losers.
What total losers.

Wow reading comprehendion issue. B12 is talking about the 1 1/2 shares as an enticement to stay. OU has said almost nothing. Again more making stuff up and calling it history.

Sure. Let texas in. They're fricking snakes, and tbh, it's about time y'all saw the mess we were talking about 10 years ago up close and personal.

Avian Overlord I didn’t read the thread but I did vote and will copy and paste what I’ve said in other threads.
I just found out about this mess yesterday and am still in denial mode I think, I’m not sold it’ll happen. It’s two sides of the same coin for me. On one side I’d love to see the rivalry renewed (My dad and grandfather are over it) but I think it’d be good for football. On the other side I’ve got a bad feeling about tu being in the SEC, I just think they’ll try to throw their “weight” around (money and political backings) because they are pompous asses and that’s what they do. If they are let in I hope the SEC as a whole will stand strong and tell them “that dog won’t hunt” this is the SEC and you don’t run shite. I did just see on tSECRant someone posted CBS reported the big12 offering tu and OU more money via tv revenue or some shite like that which honestly just makes me feel bad for the rest of the big12 teams. All that being said it would be glorious seeing tu struggle with a legit SEC schedule the first few years.
Tl;dr frick tu, Saw 'Em Off!!!

If you are an LSU fan you should support it. Why? Because with Auburn and Alabama moving to the SEC East, then Alabama will instantly become the top-dog in the SEC East and LSU will quickly become the top-dog in the SEC West.
Moreover, players love to play for the top dogs. Thus, as long as Ed O remains at LSU, he will bring home the best of the best top recruits. Same for Nick Saban in the SEC East.
Furthermore, LSU and Alabama will still continue to play on an annual basis, but on a neutral field for the SEC Championship.
Lastly, once the College Football Playoffs expand to 12 teams, then LSU and Alabama will both be in the College Football Playoffs every year.
Indeed, as an LSU fan, I like this new expansion of the SEC very much. Thank you OU and Texas.

Need 2 polls but Texas is so bad it trumps OU so no overall.
LHN was key in A&M finally having enough of Texas always trying to have an unfair advantage and jumping to the SEC.
Texas has never wanted to go to the SEC but ESPN is pushing them that direction so they can get rid of the LHN. Kind of ironic
